Utah!

Well we went to IFA and what did they have. Some cute chicks. So we got 2 more. My 8 year old DD wanted the black one. Its supposed to be a SLW. And my DS 4 picked the other. Its supposed to be an ameraucana. Sorry the pic is blurry they wouldn't hold still. They are still trying to decide what to name them. They are so cute.

Ok, Brad, I can see how that would turn you off to fishing a bit. It sounds like a HORRIBLE week.

Those are very cute chicks, kidsasoto! Excellent taste.

(Not that I know anything about it yet.) Did you have other takers, if not, how soon do you need to rehome? My oldest babies are 6 weeks.

I haven't put her up on ksl yet..you asked me not to.

I am able to hold onto her until you decide. I'm not pushing, but really, no big deal until you decide. I would rather her go somewhere that I know~knows chickens. She's pure, and a lot of people around here don't know what that means. I always just hope they go to a good home.

Hi everyone! I live in Southern Utah and I had 2 black and white crested polish chicks about 8 weeks-ish old, and one of them died, it was smothered by the other chicks... but I am wondering if anyone in the area has any polish pullets that they are selling or trying to get rid of? My one left hangs out alone and is kind of stand-off ish now, and I am so sad for her!

Holy cow, Brad, are you serious? That sounds like a nightmarish trip

I'm glad you're okay. I'll have to tell you sometime about the Lake Powell trip we had a year ago from you-know-where.

Cynthia, I meant to ask before - that girl is less than two months old? Wow. She looks a lot bigger than mine of that age. Ya feeding her anything special? Haha

Maybe I just have the small bugs around here. You know, small food equals small chickens?

it's the one in my avatar, her name was Tina Turner, so my kids are running around telling everyone that Tina Turner died... LOL! Polish are officially my favorites, they are so calm and sweet! now I want a bunch!

She looks very cute. I've always said that if I get a Polish, I'd want one with a dark 'fro so that I can name her Tina Turner

Too funny. I've heard a lot of good things about the Polish breed.
