Utah!

Alright, I'm honestly not going for sympathy here. It's just that words fail me right now.

Found out the kid has a record. Put at least 7k new miles on it over the weekend. He added lots of fun stuff, like that sticker on the front window, neon lights around the rear plates, items of personal habit all over the inside. And a bunch of the panels have been ripped off, inside and out. I just can't even believe the damage on this thing. The guy at the shop estimated about 10k in body repair, just on the one side. And remember, the engine is smoking. When he started it up, it sounded rougher than when we had it.

So, something tells me we aren't getting this truck back

Your professional opinions, please? If it were your truck, would you want it fixed? Or would you hope for a replacement, instead?
This makes me so mad! I am so sorry this happened to you guys. If it were me, I would demand a replacement of equal or MORE value. And the kid's insurance (or his parents?) should be the paying party. However, if your insurance is paying, they should be going after the kid/kid's insurance for repayment. hang in there, Whitney. (sp?) This too, shall pass.

What a pretty egg!  Love it!  Your black EE girl is pretty, too.  My 2 Wyandotte girls have turned really red in the face.  No squatting yet though.  Hedwig (Ameraucana) is just now turning pink.  So soon, I shall have some egg layers.  :)  Can't believe I have all these chickens, and none of them lay.  Oh well, I love them all.

Sasha I know that feeling! I have 4 laying plus my non laying Buff orp, so after Shirlee goes I will have 3 layers :/ and 28 chickens!

Crazy! My neighbors were asking me the other day why we have not been around selling eggs, and seemed almost upset about it, I told them only 4 were laying and they looked at me like I was crazy! haha! Because they are all starting to look full size, and eating like little pigs. I cannot wait, only a couple months now and I should have 10 more laying. Then by fall.....woohoo!!

Woohoo! You'll be in egg heaven! LOL We went to meet my Great Aunt Dalice's friends in Trenton last night. They have a farm with TONS of animals....and about 40 chickens. She takes a lot of unwanted/abused/neglected animals. She had mostly barnyard mixes, but also had a BEAUTIFUL blue Andalusian roo, a Golden Phoenix roo, a bunch of Wyandottes and some Welsummers and a bunch of EEs. They even had an Ameraucana x Dorking....had the body of an Ameraucana with the coloring of a Dorking. Beautiful! None of them are really handle-able as they all free range the farm, but it was sure fun.

Speaking of Welsummers....Cynthia, tell me again where you live? And do you still have a Welsummer chickie? :D

I do have a little Welsummer left. It's young, so can't tell for sure the sex, but going by feathers, and the V on the head, I think I lucked out having this one left as a little pullet.
I'm in Spanish Fork, a ways from you. :(

Brad, did someone say there was a place like this in Orem? That surplus place?

you are thinking of the restore :) check out the website, they always have tons of stuff :)

If there is a welsummer going to Sasha's from Cynthia, there should be a showgirl or something fun if there are others for sale.......coming back with her for me :D Just sayin'.....that would be waaaaay too easy.

Red, if there's meth residue on the inside of that truck, you definitely want it to be totaled out. In a house that tests positive for meth, they pretty much have to get rid of everything down to the studs. There's even a registry that the state keeps up of houses whose meth levels are over the legal limit. I imagine in a car it'd be the same way, and the interior, coupled with the body damage, and the engine issues, they really ought to.

Brad, your cockatiel wants you to be the baby daddy. Awwww!

Sundance, good luck on finding the cruise clothes. I'm still wildly jealous.

Time for picture overload, just because I am bored, and thought I would take some pictures of my flock. You will see which three I am...ahem, patiently waiting on to lay. That NH has been checking out the boxes, but the S. Sussex is looking waay red. Plus, the Black Ameraucana is getting red. Enny, meenie, miney moe. hmmm? Anyone want to take a guess as to who will be the first? And Brad, here are a few of the pencil..she is really getting some great looking feathers.

My flock, two laying, and a few that should start soon.
The black Ameraucana, S. Sussex, and the NH...Come one girls!
She sure got pretty...blue egg, blue egg, blue egg.....! She is getting red now too..
The Exchequer is getting red too! I would say, what's up with that, but the leghorn can lay as early
as 16 weeks, she's just over 12 weeks.

My New Hampshire is checking out the nest boxes. :)
Not too red yet

Check out her beautiful feathers! Pencil Rock
Another shot of the Pencil's feathering.

My almost twins... the NH on the left, and my little Red, sexlink. The NH is now bigger than the red
sex link.

My Speckeled Sussex...really red!
