Utah!

Cynthia, great pictures! The showgirls are really cute. Are the ones hatching bearded also? They look like Santa Claus haha!

I have today, my Black Australorp (19 weeks), my White Rock (15 weeks), my Blue Wheaten (22 weeks) all checking out nests, yay! But I see no squatting as far as I can tell. Also---Cynthia here is a pic to show you how this one turned out. This is the EE I got from you, "Squattie" the fat muffed one, that was still on its belly when i picked it up at Red Lobster (remember!!) There were two, the brown was a roo, this one everybody has said had the boy feather pattern, and really is a girl (hooray for miracles!)......18 weeks, turning quite red and acting goofy too. Wow I cannot wait to see what color egg from her :)

She still has amazing muffs/beard:

Fun color huh! Very speckled and different from my others.

Ok sundance, do you want one of the ones that will hatch the first part of July too..you would have one with no muff and no bow tie..this one I just showed, and then the other will have a muff and bowtie. I'm counting my chicks before they hatch, they have been hard to hatch, but, that is why I ordered more, I have these in my new bator. Hope it makes a difference!

I like the really naked one. Reminds me of my cats

ok I set my eggs in my new bator. I have Auraconas again, can u tell I like them? These are from a different breeder than before and are suppose to be lavender. I have Frizzled Americanas, I have Olive eggers, HUGE olive eggs and some Sizzles. A nice variety. First eggs I've had that had some broken ones when they arrived. The olives. Also in the olives there is the biggest copper egg I have ever seen. I have one egg too many for my bators turners. Can i just put it on top of the ones i have in the turner?

Oooh, Lisa, that is such a neat looking EE. I remember the little belly crawler. And if I remember, it also made the paddle walk. Love this, I'm so glad it turned out to be a girl. Love that muff! You know what? It almost looks as though it has pencil rock in it. Oh man, can hardly wait to see what color of egg she gives you. Sounds like you have some waiting going on too..Fun ey? I just hope that silly Speckled Sussex doesn't get to liking that floor too much. I already said, I saw her laying and kicking up the sawdust this morning on the floor.

And, yes, the ones that are due to hatch are the muffed and bow tie. I guess sundance likes the NN showgirl. That's cute sundance, it reminds you of your cats. Made me smile. She's yours then! Will save her and another one? Or just the one I have now with no muff?

I couldn't stand watching her struggle so I took some yarn and tied her legs together with a half inch in between She took off walking right away

That's interesting..yarn instead of tape, or bandaid...that could work. Use it for half a day, take it off in the morning and see how she is walking. She will still walk funny at first, because she will be used to having that yarn on, will feel funny with it off at first. By an hr. see how she is doing..still walking with the legs out wide? Bring them together again.
