ok here are a few...I thought I had some better pics, until I realized most were blurry...Monster left some fingerprints on the camera. I will clean it and take some better ones soon.
this is the Jersey Giant...It is a fat little thing.

And the best pic of the Barred Rock...He has a Mohawk. LOL

I have to say, I don't know how you all hatch eggs all the time. I do not have the patience for this....I am so antsy...This is almost worse than waiting for goats to kid.

It was so nice of you to 'egg-sit' for Lisa!! Cute chicks!! I know I would be a nervous wreck, too, I'm thinking I'm preferring letting the bantams hatch the eggs out=)

Oh, I love the mohawk already. Yay babies! Come on!

Woohoo! Babies!!! Thanks for posting those.

I think I'm going to owe my dh bigtime. He's killing himself in the hot weather, trying to get the larger enclosure done before he leaves tomorrow for scout camp so that the chickens can play outside again. It's going to be awesome, though I think they'll not have anything on top til next week.

Enclosure surrounding new chicken coop (chicken coop abuts our shed). You can see neighbor's barn in the background, and if you look carefully, some small calves.

This is my current chicken set up, on the other side of the barn. Where that wood is propped against the fence, we'll join the two runs together, but leave the opening small enough so that if/when I want to divide the flock, it'll be easy.

Woo Hoo!!!! Another Norther Utah Person.

, polemic.

Update on coop-madness, Cache Valley style. I have the poles up and now I just need to add the fencing, gate, and ramps to the coop.

So the chain link on the left, that is Sierra's duck pen, then the posts around the coop will be for the run, and the butt in the far right, that is the horse, Karma.

Welcome, Polemic! I love Eden, I think it's beautiful there. Did you get your chickens as day old chicks? What kind are they?

T-Rex, looks like you've had a fun 4th as well. What are you doing over the top of your chicken pen?

Calves helping my husband bury chicken wire.
