Oh my goodness Lisa! I am so glad your husband is ok. Sounds like no one was shot? Did the person shoot themself? How scary! What is going on in our country?

Apparently a guy and his wife/girlfriend were having some sort of argument in the parking lot, he held her at knifepoint, and even may have stabbed her or attacked her, and the police officer shot and killed the guy. Wow. I am glad no stray bullets hurt anyone else. And that the officer got there and ended the situation with no more casualties.

Getting down to 9 degrees tonight!

Hope my babies are warm enough, put down tarps on the grow out pen..which I only have my Favorelle and my/sundances, Partridge. He didn't crow today. Tooo cold I guess, would work right. ? lol.. he sure acts like a boy, it's fun to watch, I haven't had a cockerel around for a long time. I usually get them placed pretty quick.
Sundance, let me know when you are going back for your pups check up. Sure hope the protein diet works for the little guy. He's been through so much.

Cyndie, that partridge is beautiful. He didn't even make it to my house, Melissa took him home she said I could use him for breeding later in the spring. It is bitter cold today and I have been out finishing my christmas shopping, My son surprised me. He bought an airplane and is flying in his family for the weekend. I hope we have time for him to take me for a ride. I love to fly in small planes over the valley, Its a 6 seater to accomidate his 3 kids and wife, I hope I can convinve him to fly me to a few cat shows. Much better than driving

Eek! My DH works for DWS, they had a shooting at the Taylorsville office this morning....scary, people get so desperate and upset at the holidays, I am so grateful my DH is safe and the workers at this office are ok. So sad!

I drove by there and saw all the cops crime scene tape and even the big incident motorhome. part of Redwood road was closed off. I wondered what had happened. They had the whole block taped of and about 15 cop cars. wow scary

Melissa took him? I knew she had chickens, couldn't remember if she had Silkies. We got a pup from her 6 years ago. Saw her one time when waiting for you and talked with her again. She said someone else had bred the Schnoodles, she was just showing them for her. We still have that boy..Ziggy. That was pretty much our son's dog that just left for his mission, now he sleeps on a pillow by my side of our bed. He snores.
