Utah!

Diana, you are so cute. I love that picture of you and your grandsons! You look so happy! Of course you are. :))

Chocolates? What a pretty color. Are they bantam?

I feel for your poor bird in the sling. Does she get off once in a while in the day? How is she doing?

The owl is adorable. I have always liked owls. My son too. He probably could have said the name of it before seeing it if he were here.

Hattie, babies are coming, babies are coming! Can't wait for pictures. Now I have to wonder if my Nankin will hatch soon or not. It's been a while since I hatched them. It's a small egg like the cochin and silkie eggs.

Lisa, my thermometer also said it spiked to 104 once, with the RIR's. It was in the very beginning, so I was worried, until I touched them to turn them, and thought, they aren't too hot. Our thermometers just don't give the exact temps. I'll bet yours are fine. What are you hatching again?

Well I HOPE to hatch these eggs, from Blujems...FBCM., Wheaten/Blue Wheaten Am, and some EE mixes from that pretty blue wheaten rooster she has in her avatar. They are due 1/9. Hoping they don't come out cross eyed after they roasted the other day...poor things!

Lisa, hopefully they'll be fine. I bet it wasn't that high for that long.

Sundance, you should've called me! I would've been happy to come get the owl from your house, or at least come with you! Loved all of the pictures, they were great. Your seramas are gorgeous and your grandkids even more so.

Any ideas what to put on their little peeling necks? or do I just leave it alone? It looks like it would be itchy. Hope this is normal...

one of my girls has been laying eggs like this for about a month. I'm not to sure what to make of this. It looks like extra calcium on the shell. The shell itself is normal it just has these deposits all over it. I have had eggs like this before but not every time from the same hen. In fact i don't even know who is doing it, but i know its from the same hen because of the shape, size, and
color.

Chicken gets physical therapy 4 times a day. I can't tell if there is any improvement. If she isn't better by next week I will have her put down

The seramas are the smallest chicken in the world. Those chickens are full grown. The chocolate color is very rare. I can't wait for spring
