Utah!

Mine has already gone broody too! She should stay stuck if she is anything like mine was. Fun, wait till you see what you can hatch! I will post pictures probably tomorrow. Not feeling too hot. I better get better fast..we both have a dentist appt. tomorrow..cleaning.

I helped the big baby out. Good thing I did. All of the blood was gone, just a tiny bit of stringy on the end, but the head was a little flat on the top of one side. And, he/she didn't hang her left leg down at first. I thought so. Couldn't turn, I'm guessing more because it is so big. Sounds and acts strong.

Good luck red pretty cute. One of my Seramas is broody I put 2 blue eggs under her, Cynthia glad you saved the big baby. Can't wait to see pictures.

Here is a quick pic of the 5. The boys and one doe are doing great. all between 1-2 lbs. Very tiny. Still worried about one of the does so cross your fingers.

Cynthia cant wait for pics of your big one. Glad it made it.
Red yay for broodies...One day I hope to have one.

Ok, had to get pictures of reds, they were looking so darn cute

In order they hatched. See that middle one..mine! If it is a girl, it came from the dark
green egg...sooo cute and fluffy. I like the first one too. Oh, and I love the third one's
coloring. Oh dear.

First one to hatch, has some blue on her, and a nice muff.

Second one to hatch..love this baby .

Look at that muff! Poooff! This is the one with a large comb, the
others have pea combs. This one came from the olive egg.

Third to hatch, still doing the paddle walk, and is tired of the photo shoot. Pretty silver
color

Third one again..pretty colors, will be beautiful

Top view of colors, The one up close first to hatch, middle one second, and the silver/blue
third to hatch.

Aren't they pretty? Three of the three that went into lock down hatched.

I just had 5 goat babies born from maybelle...I will get pics up soon. 3 bucks and 2 does. trying to get the tiny does warmed up and fed, afraid I might lose one. The boys are doing great though.

Hoping your little ones are doing well, can't wait to see them. I hope the little girl makes it.

That is just precious, What do they do for baby goats that fail to thrive? do they give atropine or dex?

She is having a hard time breathing. I tubed her earlier. She just started sucking and drank about an oz. of milk. I gave her some vit. B, a vit. E capsule and an antibiotic. she is warm now and sucking but still panting pretty good. Hopefully she continues to improve. I am hesitant to say she will make it but we are making progress.

I'm saying prayers right now.

Blu, I hope that little doe is okay. You guys take such good care of your animals. On a little bit of a different note, it seems like you've had a lot of bucks born this last year. Is that normal for goats?

Cynthia - Are those really my babies? They are so cute. I can see the Icelandic in all three of them. That buff is definitely Thelma's baby - my OE. And I was wrong about the other two. Looks like their momma is Jemma, my blue Ameraucana. How cool! There's got to be at least one girl in there for you, right?

There's the big baby sitting on it's behind. Doesn't look as big as I thought it would up
against the others, but it is the biggest.
Oh, the other egg that was close to the same size is hatching now. Probably another black.
Same color of egg..she threw in three Marans mix eggs. She said these should lay OE's
