Well 2 chicks out now and 2 more eggs have pipped. They are so quiet, just an occasional chirp.

My Sparkles egg hatched that was pipped Only one pipped/out for now. PO called, going to get my chicks

The chicks are all alive! So far so good. 3 NN missing. Don't know if they escaped or what happened, the two that I DID get are orange, one is chipmunk Will get pics in just a bit, I have some hatching and need to make sure all of these have had water go down. My mystery chick is a SL Polish. That worked out well! Except from what I have heard, the mysteries are usually boys. Will see!

Lots of extra roosters were added for warmth, they look like they may be cornish X, because they are really fat, but I am not positive. Anybody want meat chickens?

They seem like they did really well. The only one that seems sluggish now is the mystery chick (sl polish)...they are really liking that heat lamp though, they get under there and fall asleep in a little wave, it is so funny. I think they will all make it, they are eating and drinking a lot so crossing fingers!

So I won't have any NN for sale, unless they ship me more....but I do have several mottled houdans and snowball polish if any body is interested. Cynthia, Brandi wants some Houdans, if we can find a chicken train to your house could you get them to her? Anybody going from Logan to Orem? or SLC even?

Lilwanis, did you want some Houdans yet? They are pretty cute! If anyone is interested PM me They are sexed female, except the Free roosters to whoever wants them!

Just want to check here first, you guys get first dibs then I will get my ad up on KSL for my extras.

Where did you get your Welsummer eggs from..state?  I have some coming for the Easter Hatch A Long..

Somewhere down south, don't recall which state. I have another set in there from Bargain, and another set coming from down south.

I called, and they sent all the turkens, so 3 must have escaped the box. There was a pretty good gap on the lid area. Hope they make it to a happy destination, that makes me sad they are on the loose somewhere! Poor lost babies!

I think I have fulfilled my chick addiction for today. 2 teenager chickens in the garage, 36 chicks in the mailed box, (half downstairs, half upstairs) 2 more just hatched upstairs, a little happy bantam 2 week old chick upstairs that is hollering, more hatching in the bator, my dog is going crazy, all I hear is peeping and screaming, and I have 6 preschoolers here. I may need an ibuprofen here shortly.....anybody remember "Calgon, take me away!" Lol

I think I can safely go to IFA to get feed now.

Yay! They just take a little practice, right? I really like my cheapo styrobator Congrats on the much better hatch this time, yay! You should definitely hatch some more Why not? The eggs are free lol! I would be a hatching maniac if I had all those eggs

I got 2 of your 'sparkles' chicks to hatch. I sure hope one is a girl. The first one is drying out, it looks lighter than the last one I hatched. The second one is still wet, can't tell if the coloring is any different. Cute little EE's, the muffs are great on these. The 3rd sparkles egg was a goner, I could tell it felt really light, I opened it and it was just developed a little then gone. Could not candle that egg at all it was so thick. The marans are left to hatch, a couple pips. I only have 5 that made it to lockdown, but I will be surprised if they all hatch because I could not see in those very well either so I have no idea what is going on inside
