Utah!

wAAAH! I wanna go to chickenstock! But, of course, I can't because I have to stinking WORK! Can you tell I am at work and on my 6th 12 hour shift in a row? I can literally FEEL the whining oozing out of my pores. 2 more hours to go and I can go home for my one stinking day off this week. Wanna go up to the land to heist more eggs. We'll see how it goes...

Welcome, Rykel!
I have feathered legged chickens in with clean legged chickens. They really don't care either way. To them, a chicken is a chicken. I even have bantams in with Large Fowl, and have a pretty happy flock. :) It's best to have at least 2 new chickens to put in with your already established flock. It lets the newbie have a buddy so they aren't totally left out, and the established flock doesn't pick on just a single chicken while they are sorting out the new pecking order. Where are you located?

I'm in Kearns and have been slowly building my flock two chicks at a time as i can afford them. I've been getting them brooded from sunny brook farms so they are all from the same hatch group but ever since i saw the chicks at ifa i have wanted a feather footed breed

, it still might be next year before i can get some though

Hi everyone! It's been a while but the weather has been so nice here so I have been out changing some things around by the coop. I've got to get things done before the heat sets in.

I'm seeing so many cute chicks and goats. Fun pictures. I am so done with hatching! So if I'm wanting to see baby chicks I know I can always hop on here and look at all your cuties.

I have a WC Cuckoo Fizzle Bantam Polish roo if anyone is interested. This little guy comes from show quality breeding stock. I so wish I could keep him.

He is about 5 weeks old. I'm not a 100% he is a roo but pretty sure he is. My kids will be coming for Easter so I could send him up to at least Lehi if there is anyone who wants him. Just let me know.

Happy news. Jacque my dog got his cast off today. After 6 months and 4 times breaking it maybe this time he has a chance of keeping it sound. He is limping a bit and has licked that poor leg until its soeaked. He is sure happy. Keep your fingers crossed that he doesn'r break it again.

Well, the runty houdan did not make it :( she was eating from my hand and drinking and her pasty butt had cleared. I checked on the, at lunch around one, and she was moving around just fine. When I got home she was dead. I think it was a failure to thrive. She was half the size of the others. Everyone else seems happy and moving around, so hopefully she will be the only one.
