What are every-bodies thoughts on vaccinations for home hatched chicks.... Mareks and New Castle, in particular.

AND, are their any other vaccines that I may need to be considering?

Thanks for the input...

I don't vaccinate my home hatched chicks, but if I buy them from a hatchery I do for mareks and cocci :)

That is where I got my Denegard. Have had it going on 2 years now, and still have a 4th of a bottle left..and that's after selling some to someone on here.

Baby pictures. First, my mystery chick..will have to ask what it is on the "what breed is this" thread if no one knows here. ?

Group shot

fuzzy feet on the cochins. :) Check out the brown and black
serama sitting near the left side..at the back. They are still
smaller than these babies.

I love the coloring on this baby

Houdan baby, the flash scared all of them at first, and they
would let out the cutest..PEEP! And jump in my hand..had
to hold on carefully!

They have muffs! And beards!

They have little tops. :))

I could kiss all over their cute little faces.

You all probably know you just click on the photo to make it bigger, in case you want to see cuteness up close.

Oh! Oh my goodness, don't you love the fluff on the Houdans babies! So cute :love Clicking right now

Could the mystery chick be an EE? They look an awful lot like two of my EE's from McMurray that came last week :) The rings around the eyes is a little different though? A little more pronounced.

Lisa, no puffs! I went ahead and put it up for question on that thread. We'll see what they say. Of course, it could be an EE, but I'm comparing it to the puffiness in those Houdans. They are cute. They seem to be little toughies too. :)
Now, anyone want a Houdan? I have 5 left.

Ohh yeaa! I did not realize the poofs were missing, yup! That might be hard to figure out as a chick. Sure is a cute little thing. :)

I love my Houdans. As they have gotten bigger, they are so laid back. I expected the more skittish Polish-like behaviour, but nope. Mine are easy peasy going. The littlest one is a little spoiled lap chicken. I hope my big girls stay nice to them, so far so good, but the littlest ones crest is starting to limit her vision quite a bit, I might need to clip it back just a bit to help her out.

sundance, wish I had room for that in my back yard! Would be great. I have two coops now. hmmm, trying to think, trying to think. I just don't see any room..

I took pictures for our son out in GA. so he could see spring in our yard. I love this purple tree, can't remember the name of it. And I love love tulips! My favorite flower. I need to thin them out. My bleeding bush is doing great this year. You can see the peonies starting in front of the bleeding heart bush.

This little bush is just starting to blossom out. It has a lot to go. Pretty big pink ones.

They make me smile. :))

Bleeding heart bush, going to have a lot on it.

Austin loves this bush.
