I got new babies today. And hopefully these ones are for sure a girl since they were sexed. I got them from Brian, and I have to say its kind of nice having fuzzy butts in the house again. I've been watching them for the last hour. I'm pretty 100% that the NN and the Sex Link are at home here, they are already named. The leghorns have to go. Any takers on a Leghorn?


Here is Olivia, I can't believe how cute NN are when they are little, my Ollie I got at like 3 months old, so I didn't see her this little. So fun.




Very Shy Sex Link, Ryan named her Cupcake, since Brian has our other Cupcake.


And here are the Leghorns, I'm sure at 2 weeks old they are all Roos.

Yes, I see boy leghorns! I am really sure that my two are girls now. That NN is cute! That sex link is going to be pretty. Will be interesting to see how much color shows up. He is bringing me my girl this weekend.

Nope I got her from Wendy. She came with my special needs FBCM as a buddy. Wendy thought she was a Rooster because she had a big white dot on her head, the only one that someone said was a Rooster, that didn't turn into a Rooster. Dad is a full Cream Legbar, and then mom is a FBCM/EE Mix. So I'm hoping since she really is a Hen, I hope... and I hope I get a nice pretty Olive Egg from her. She was hatched the first of May so she is 10-11 weeks, so I'm not thinking she is a Roo, at least she doesn't really look like one.

I think I've decided I do want to go the Light Brahma route... But unfortunately, I really can't find any more Light Brahmas anywhere... My breeding time is getting limited, and every quality breeder I find that ships eggs seems to not be doing to anymore. lD
