Utah!

Well the other one she came with looks like a Roo, this one has no comb at all, the other one same age, has a huge red comb. But I was just guessing. I just know looks a lot different then its hatch mate.

Here he is.

Oh ya that one looks like a boy :( Just wondered if the black one was sexed or straight run. Hope it is a girl for you! You have had more roos than you deserve this year girl!

I got them as a rescue, the black one was so very tiny when I got hopefully her, she couldn't stand or walk, they were just going to throw her out, so I bought her home with the other as a buddy, booted her feet every other day for almost 3 weeks, and finally they were almost perfectly straight.

Haven't been on here much lately. Been looking for a small house that will allow chickens. I found the perfect house but not sure if they will allow chickens. They should the house in on almost an acre of land. Does anyone on here know of any houses that are for rent and are chicken, dog and cat friendly?

Brian, it wouldn't hurt at all to call and ask about it. If it has an acre, I'd imagine they would be fine with it.

Silly, you are going to be a full fledged vet in no time with all of the miracles you've performed with your chickens.

It was nothing serious, just pipe cleaners and bandage tape, I really thought she was a lost cause, and she would just be curled toes, but they finally straighten out. You would never know she had booties. At least I hope she is a girl.

One of my chickens can't walk. She gets around by flpping her wings. This is an adult. The vet said in fowl or birds, vitamin defiency can cause it, She is now on Vitamins. She is really sweet. I hatched her in January she is an Araucana has no tail. I really hope she recovers. She was laying a really pretty small blue egg. I found out my frizzled Americana is the one laying the large oolive eggs.

Sundance, did she just barely stop being able to walk? I have to admit I'd be frantic.

For your afternoon entertainment, I have a photo essay entitled: "Why I will not give this broody eggs to hatch"

(yes, I know this corner of my coop is filthy. She gets so nasty whenever I go near her that it's tough to get the area cleaned up. I occasionally send a host of water on her, which I'm sure doesn't help matters much)

So I got in the mail 2 $10.00 off any $10.00 purchase at the new location of Cal Ranch in American Fork. So I'm going to take my Husband with me and buy some chicken feed. Everyone here is 5 months to a week old. I do have the 1 week-4 week olds still on Chick Starter, but I have the 2-5 months on a mix of chick starter and Flock Grower. So I want to get 2 bags for food. Should I just get 2 bags of flocker grower or should I get a layer, but I don't have any laying hens right now.
