that's what I told donna, he will be back now that he knows where the food is. The only surviving ones are the little barred rock I got from you, my little welsummer and daisy. I don't think daisy will make it. She does not look like she is doing well

So, my breeding program was just shot. Contrary to research on my property, I cannot have roosters. I will be processing the ones that are old enough, but have quite a few more that I can't bring myself to process. They are twelve weeks and under. I have until Saturday to be rid of them, which means Wednesday as I am leaving out of town Thursday morning. Let me know if you can help. I also cannot free range them. I am feeling pretty devastated about now.

Oh, Brian, that is absolutely awful. I am so sorry for your loss. How do they know it was a fox?

Lilwanis, that's terrible that you can't have roosters. How did you find this out? This is going to sound a little crazy (well, crazy to anyone but you guys), but my biggest pause from moving from this house that is waaaaaay too small for our family is that odds are, our next house will be someplace I can't have roosters. And the idea of giving up my roosters is abhorrent. I totally get your devastation.
