My black bantam cockerel is back up for sale (for free) the guy did not show up to pick him up. Won't even answer my texts if he still wants him, I assume that means no?? People! Anyway if anybody wants him, he is back on ksl Supposedly my white silkie roo is sold, but pickup is later today so we will see. Seems like I have had lots of weird flaky buyers lately, that call and want them, then don't call me back...or call and ask how much then if I say free they don't call back....or say they will be right over then I never hear from them. What is up with all the strange people calling? Hmmm!

Yes, there is quite a difference in this one and the one Brian has. The neck feathering is what I was looking at more than the comb, because even the hen has a big ol comb, so, just seeing the body of this one sure looks like a little handsome dude.

The one Brian has is older then this one too. This is the 2nd one that I got from you, I think there is at lease 2-3 weeks apart with them.

Sending the Jap roo to Brandi Now he finally has a home. Poor lonely boy lol all his older friends are gone.

Silly, he is really pretty, love all the blue coming in on him! No more roosters for me though, I am slowly finding homes for these boys here. hatched quail again this morning, cute little furballs!

I had heard of hens/pullets taking the role of the rooster before but now I have confirmation!

My Houdan crows...and has laid eggs! She has also flogged the snot out of me.

Well...she must have ****** someone off because I got home yesterday and she had blood all over her head and face!

I have her in isolation but does anyone know if I can get blu-kote at either Cal ranch or IFA?

Doughie, I THINK you can get blukote at either. I'd call before you make the trip to double check.


Silly, I'm really sorry, but that blrw looks very boyish to me. I've noticed the lacing isn't very good on the wings of boys, and they eventually have red patches there. It looks like yours is going in that direction. :-(

They have rooster booster brand "no pick lotion" at CAL...it is purple and works about the same. I think it is 7.99
