Woot! I have had the little polka dotted "it's" hatching today too... I would post pics but they look exactly the same. Silly critters. I did get three with some really fat bowties this time, but their little beards are still not as fluffy as I would have liked. Let us know what you get, dying to see!

All the older ones are getting more hard feathers and looking to be large fowl. So basically like a naked neck turken only dark skinned. So weird

Hey everyone I talked to Diana (sundance) and she wanted me to let you all know that she is back in the hospital with pneumonia and hasn't been feeling so hot since her last vacation. I went to go see her for a surprise vist and she wasn't home. I asked to go vist her but she had just gotten a shot that was going to make her crash. Poor Diana! She asked me to let everyone know what's going on because she can't get on byc. Sending love and prayers her way.

Yay Cynthia!!!

Today I went out to collect eggs, and found a peregrine falcon perched on my chicken enclosure. I was sure glad I have that poultry netting up. No way was it getting to my chickens! I noticed that mama hen was inside with her babies underneath her, and she was looking freaked out. All of my smaller birds were huddled up inside as well.

Anyone wanting a white leghorn roo? He is the cutest little guy with his little red comb but I'm sure he is a he. The other three are looking much more girlie so I'll have one or maybe two of them to part with too. I did loose one in the transition from inside to outside brooder. It was one that never really perked up. My daughter actually named it Sleepy when we got it because it was always sleepy. So, out of 5 I got me three girls not too shabby I must say.

I have a young partridge Silkie roo for free if anyone wants him. His color is starting to come in around his neck. He is crowing and my RIR roster hates him. Im surprised he lets him sleep in the coop.
