Utah!

Hi I'm Sean and trying to figure this out. I live in Vernal and have had chickens for a few years now and with the help of La Casa de Pollo I'm getting into quails!

You are going to love the little quailies! Hoping you can get those shipped eggs to hatch. Sending good vibes for the postal service to be in a collectively great mood tomorrow :p

Hello again everyone! Cynthia, your street was a river lol. I can't believe the rain. I don't think we're in Utah anymore Toto.

I've been super busy with cakes every weekend and making the decorations during the week. My little hobby is looking like it might float as a real business soon.

Hello to all the newbies! Welcome to BYC.

I'm thinking of thinning down my flock but I just love all off my girls too much. Sigh. What to do what to do. Speaking of thinning flocks..... I was the one that wanted the FCBM pullets if you would still like to part with them :) I'm coveting those dark eggs.

I am so glad to hear your cakes are selling! They are amazing! You should open one of those fancy cupcake shops, then you could make mini ones and make some bucks girl!
I am always thinking of thinning the flock...then voila I hatch these little chicks and have to figure out where to put them. Up to 3 runs and 4 coops....ugh! I keep reminding myself how much "not fun" this winter will be with all the watering and feeding, and digging paths through the snow....

I know right? I just don't want to part with anyone but I want to keep adding. I really need another run (actually I don't because then chicken math Will really get the best of me).
Thank you, we've definitely toyed with the idea but we live in a town that is notorious for killing small businesses. They don't last long here, but there is nothing like that here and it just might float. The great thing is weee are getting others from people in Utah county.

Yes i have bantams and rhode island reds and golden sex links. Jus wanna add some quails to my yard

Do you have any roosters? Seems like you were saying you did, but I can't remember for sure.

That is awesome. I would think you could get people from all over, you have a great talent!
Yes, building another run will mean more chickens-- like the old saying - "If you build it he (they) will come". Haha Better buy some snow boots! Oh wait, you are down further south, you probably don't have to wade through feet of snow...I am already dreading it! Last year was ridiculous.

Sean...what kind of chickens do you have? LOL... Looks like you are about to have some quail too. I love Vernal! Used to go see the dinosaur things all the time when the kids were younger, and, that cool quarry wall/museum. There was a place to eat that we just loved..it was..Seven Eleven..the restaurant..not the fast food place. :) We went for their Prime Rib. Still there? Yum!
