Utah!

Hey, guess what? We officially have a date set for the wedding!

Because certain people can get on here and see the info, if they really wanted, I can't say when or where out in the open (it's like a spy movie) However, I still wanted to share with my friends here. If you want an announcement, please PM me your address (if I don't have it already)

Because of the place we'll be at, I don't know that we'll be able to have a very big ceremony, but I would still love to see you guys at the reception, if you are close enough and able to come <3

gary that is so cool about the flowers :) sorry about everyones sad issues. and yay for the good news too! so i have been putting off buying feed as i just got it stuck in my head it will come on sale so i am putting it off lol. but my girls have been eating scratch mix and any other treats we have and the stuff my parrots do not eat. only issue is now i gotta make more scratch lol. they are actually eating less and laying nicer eggs and more of them. and they look nicer too. makes me think of just feeding them like this all the time as much of a pain that is. it is cheaper too.

Yeah Red! That is awesome Congrats! That is so Cool Casa, hopefully she makes it all the way to the gold, how cool is that.

Gary, I'm so sorry to hear about your Roo that is so very sad.

So here is my sob story, Its been a horrible week here, besides both my kids horribly sick and to the doctors 3 times this week my furnace sometime last night gave out. It was just a fan belt, but we woke up to a house that was 58 degree's, I flew to the incubator, and it was at 95 degree's. I have no idea how long it was at 95 degrees. So I turned it up and it quickly steadied out at 100.6 where I've left it. So fixed the furnace, watched the incubator all day long to turn it back down, and its been fine all day long, once I noticed it was up at 101, I just would tweak it, haven't touched it for hours. But I'm so nervous that the low temps killed them babies. We are at day 10, is there any way of knowing if I candled them. Like would you see movement at day 10? I don't even want to look. I've had such a horrible week, and then to add this, I just feel like crying if I killed them babies. Stupid Stupid Furnace fan belt!

I'm sure your babies are totally fine. Really. Do you remember the really poofy black Wyandotte and blue Wyandotte sisters I have in my yard? They came from a hatch Lisa did where her dog unplugged the incubator for a whole night! What did those eggs get down to, Lisa? 60 ish? And the babies were all perfectly healthy.

So sorry to hear that your kids have had it rough with the bugs going around, and then your furnace decided to take a break. Hope things get better soon!

My little Rusty is gone.:hit Trying to get a hold of the guy that bought the ones i just sold. Hoping he will sale me one back.
oh i am so sorry :( maybe even offer him some of the offspring that you would get in the future if he will sell you one back. this is a guy that has bought several before from you correct? if you cant get one back you could maybe hatch some eggs and hope for a roo, the eggs would still be fertile for a while.

Oh, Madchicken, I am so sorry for the loss of your roo. I hope you can get one of his sons back.

Red!!!!! That is so exciting! Congratulations! You still have my address, right?

Lisa, very neat about your cousin. I hope she goes all the way!

Silly, I agree- 95 isn't that bad. Remember that the Brinsea incubators have a "cooling time" on their bators now where they deliberately turn off for a couple hours a day. I'm sure those babies will be fine.

I'm hating the wild birds now. I swear, they have eaten 10 lbs of chicken food in the past 48 hours. So maddening. I guess my owl isn't as scary as starving now.
