I have some eggs hatching today in the incubator. How do you mark your pullets/roos so you know which is which in a few weeks?

So I took the chicks out into the backyard to get some sunshine and play. Come to find out they are very attached to the brooder and don't like the sun.



So I had to put the brooder far away and took the chicks to the dirt. One of the BSL had a good dust bath. The larger grey BR took a dust bath in my feed bowl last week but didn't go for it with the dirt.

How does everyone clean the inside of your incubator? Have you purchased any of the disinfectants? Any homemade options?

I washed out mine with soap and hot water, but this last time I sprayed the bottom out with my Oxine Mix that I use in my coop. Hope that is okay.
