Utah!

Lisa, how old are our icelandics? Do you have any girlies you would sell?

I only got four to hatch, one died the day after hatch, solid black, then I had two chipmunks like yours and one white with a crest. All threethat survived are boys I am sure. Red as raspberries, for some time. Chest bumping and all that. :/ I have a home for one of the chipmunks, the other two are up for grabs if you feel the need to add some more masculinity to your flock lol. No icelandics for me this year darn it! Unless Birdguy has some started ones at chickenstock. I do not want to set any more eggs, but he is coming through here if you want to try again...:p

I put the babies outside today, they haven't been out for over a week. They were so excited, I don't think they stopped jumping around for an hour. Silly Babies. I did put them somewhere new today too, because I wanted them to have full sun since its still a little chilly, and they wouldn't have had sunny till about 3ish. They do have the flipped over 1/2 dog crate. That shipping box in the background is their new baby coop. Just need to cut the door out and stick in a roost. This weekends project. :D
Took some photos, they are getting big!

Welcome, WildWestChick!! Tell us about your flock!

Lisa, I'd be happy to surrogate incubate some Icelandic eggs for you if you want.

I bought two BO chicks last night to replace my speculated barred rock rooster chick... Came home tonight and my so called rooster appeared to be sitting on one of the BO chicks with the other under a wing. Is this normal behavior for a rooster? Very motherly don't you think?
