Whats lockdown referring to? Sorry, im a newbie when it comes to the incubation stuff, as ive never done it before... yet![]()
This is when you stop turning. If you have had a turner in, take the eggs out, turner out...lay the eggs on their side, or put them in a carton, which ever you prefer, and raise that humidity up to 57 to 62%. Once you get that humidity staying pretty good, don't open that lid again. Not until the babies have hatched. Here is a photo of some of my Missing In Action eggs in lock down. Pretty much all that are going to hatch, have by now..still waiting on a couple. I like to use the kitchen rubber counter stuff..makes for an easier clean up.
Check out those beautiful air sacs...NOT! I am lucky to have 10 babies right now. These
are the eggs that were out for 7 full days! Only supposed to take 2 .. 3 at the longest to
get to you when shipped.
