Utah!

Oh, I meant to say. I have a Salmon Faverolle chick who was picked on badly when my Delaware went on an evil rampage of fluffy doom. She got injured over her eyes, and she won't open one of them. I think it got hurt and that she can't see out of it. Should I be worried?

Bird Guy, I hate to say it, but if I had a known egg eater, I'd probably get rid of her. I'd try putting her in time out for a few days to see if that breaks the cycle, but I just can't have that in my flock.

My gosling hatched!! I'm so excited. I fully expected it to be all yellow, so I was really surprised to see some yellow on it.

That is so cool. I was hoping for web cam to be up. Pictures please

Sundancen, it was up. She hatched about 9:30 this morning. She was so squished in the incubator that I got her out within an hour though. I didn't have the energy to bring the chick tank to the webcam, so I just turned it off.

He/she is the sweetest baby ever. I was trying to take pictures, and it would waddle over to me as fast as it could, WANTING me to hold it.

Hi everyone, I am located in Cache Valley and have some Seramas, 5 week old chicks and 3 week old chicks available now, nice birds. Pictured is a five week old chick.

I'm totally outing myself here, but I've always been a bit afraid of geese. Growing up our neighbor had geese and they would chase the neighborhood kids around and bite us. We used to call each other and see if they knew where they were so we'd know if it was safe to go outside or not! :) Did they just have naughty geese? Are they usually nice, sweet birds?

well, day 2 building the coop (YAY!) all with materials that we had on hand from building our shed (so far) (4x4 base and 6 ft tall in the back, 7 ft in the front, with 3 ft underneath). Probably over did it on the height, but oh well!

Also, with this silkie, can anyone explain why it would be getting brown feathers around the neck?
