Utah!

Bitsyhorse..Don't listen to anyone about trying to break a broody. It is very important that you give her some fertile eggs. Very very important.

Oh my goodness, I keep trying to put my little Silkie rooster in with the Showgirls, and they are chasing him around trying to murder him I swear. Who knew such sweet beautiful girls could be so ornery. I hope I can get him integrated into the little flock, I am getting excited for Showgirl and Silkie babies. He is all by himself, so I think that is the problem. I guess we are going to have to do "playdates" for a few hours a day until they get used to each other! Stinkers.

Cynthia, hope your turkens hatch wonderfully. The babies are so adorable. It is amazing you have pips from those beaten up eggs~!
I have two NN Turken Hens for sale if anybody is interested. They are both Black Tailed Buffs. One is 14 months old, the other is 9 months old.

Cynthia where did you order your NN's from and for how much? Went to IFA again today to see if they had any. They didn't, and then they were just being mean to everybody....so I left without asking about them. Anyway, still on the look out for NN's!

the IFA on 21st south in SLC seems to always have NN

Thank you La Casa de Pollo! That helps a ton :) We're planning to go to SLC pretty soon, so I'll call ahead before we do and see what I can find :)

Our IFA (the North one) is raunchy, I really hate going in there...plus they are quite misinformed about their breeds

The one by the high school is where I go to buy feed, they are a lot nicer, but not much in the way of chicks.

I asked my friend this morning, she went to that IFA on 21st south in SLC, and she did get turkens about two weeks ago.
Hahaha! I have ordered my chicks through them for two years now and Cindi has always been so nice to me. We are talking about Hyde Park IFA right?? Ask Cindi to help you. She will order in anything you want in any number. She ordered my frizzled babies for me, I bet she would get you some NN.

One of my little eggs marked silkie is a Show Girl!

She told me, and showed me her Show Girl in with the group. The other is almost out, looks to be white. What? How did I luck out?

Aww shucks, it isn't white. It's Partridge..lol..the little bit feathering in in looked white as it dried a bit, but it's more yellow, and the back is black. Still damp, needs to fluff. Noisy little stink. :)
