Utah!

I have always wanted NN but I worry that their bare pink skin would be a pecking spot for the other hens?

Didn't have any problems with this one, and I have two out there in the grow out pen. I
Like the bow ties on the front..not the full naked necked ones.

Agree on the Turkens. They seem every bit as hardy as the standard cold weather recommended birds.

Hey Sundance! Question, what were these other eggs again you sent with the Turken eggs? Are they possibly frizzled EE's? I was not sure if these were from Hercules or not.

yes they will be frizzled EEs, When my eggs hatched on easter weekend 1/2 ended up being frizzled. The babies I sold at Chickenstock were from Hercules and my blue egg laying hens. My frizzled turkin eggs were in the bator that came unplugged while I was at chickenstock so I doubt they will hatch. I had one hatch last night a sizzle but so far no other have hatched or pipped. I have more going into lock down on Sunday so hopefully they will hatch

PS Sundancenbare our chicks from Hercules look awesome (My hubby and our baby came out to visit you a couple months ago, hubby contacted you but I actually don't know his username)! Of the 9 that hatched 5 are definitely frizzled and they are adorable. All of the Ameraucanas and one of the two not-naked-necked Turkens is frizzled. For some reason none of the cream legbars look like they'll be frizzled, but we love them all! Thanks again!

These are our chicks only a few days old. The 3 Cream Legbars and 1 Ameraucana (not sure where the other 3 went) are in the back and our 2 non-NN Turkens are in front :) I'll have to get new pics now that they are getting their frizzled feathers but they are so fun!

Awesome! I have one EE out, one Turken pipped. So funny mine came unplugged also, I think from the dog walking around under it (I need to duct tape the plug, this has happened before I should know better). Just for a bit, though, the temp was 86 when I noticed so I am hoping they are fine. It will be fun to see who frizzles and who doesn't.

Well we need to know his username now, then we can connect the dots! I wondered if your frizzled Ee's came from Sundance when you said you had some, you just don't see them too often, now it makes sense. Small world haha :D If you are in Logan, you may have some that I hatched too, depending on who your DH is  Seems like there is a lot of Logan people on here recently. Hubby and a baby...is it ACE?
