I am looking for a small sized rooster to go with my 8 lovely hens, preferably a serama or any other light colored bantam that is friendly, and at least 6 months old. Is anyone selling within 30 miles of Lindon, UT?

welcome all nice to see so many people from the eastern part of the state.  I took a quick trip to logan today.  Dropped of a partridge silkie rooster that was suppose to be a hen  tp Lisa Casa de Polo and picked up a couple of Seramas from Liz.  Pretty drive up the canyon

Aaaaaand this boy is gorgeous. He is right in with the girls and doing great. I added the little black/dark blue roo in there too and the hens gave chase a little, but eventually gave up. The partridge roo is now in the henhouse and the girls are sleeping in the corner of the run, and the little black roo is sleeping behind the feeder. He is such a shy little thing. The partridge roo is not giving him any trouble at all, it is the naughty girls :/

Now I can have silkie and showgirl babies! From GORGEOUS stock, Hooray!! (Finally after a year long search for the right parents!)

I've got two 5 month old, Blue Cochin Bantam roos, I could part with the least dominant of the two. It's not exactly light colored. It's a bit skittish and can be a bit nippy if you stick your hand in front of it when its roosting up for the evening.

I just put my chicks on KSL. Hope I get some phone calls this time. The chicks are so beautiful and frizzling nicely it was nice to see the ones at Lisas and how pretty they were, Hatch rate has been really good on my eggs if anyone wants some

I have 3 small roo's you could pick from:

* An old English Red Pyle, smaller than most bantams (adult roos weigh 1.5 lbs) but probably a tad bigger than a Serama. They are a lighter color and quite pretty: http://www.mcmurrayhatchery.com/bantam_red_pyle_games.html
* A Blue Quail Antwerp Belgian (Belgian D'Anver). Same as above, again 2 to choose from. McMurray doesn't carry them this year.
* A Black Quail Antwerp Belgian (Belgian D'Anver). Same as above, 2 to chose from (but one has a slight scissor beak but it's fine and is a nice guy). Again McMurray doesn't have them now.

I had planned on breeding them and ordered 3 of each. Got 2 roos and 1 hen of each so I gave up and don't have the heart to cull them.

I live outside of Park City. PM if you're interested. Free of course since you are looking for a guy for your girls. Oh and I haven't seen them on the girls. I rarely get a fertile banty egg (which are very tiny and cute!) and these girls are never missing feathers.

Two light, two dark (dark ones might turn blue though) But hoping because they have some yellow on them, that they might be a darker splash.

Welcome, newcomers! I can't even keep track of everyone, anymore. I must be an old timer, haha and darn proud of it.

So my second batch of turkey eggs was a total scratch, as well. I must be stupid, because I'm getting ready to put some Icelandic eggs in that awful incubator. DH keeps wanting to get me a better one, and I keep telling him no because we have more important things to save for. I must be sick.
