Utah!

Thanks! :) The partridges I got at lindon nursery and were reserved but the lady there knows me so I got them anyway haha. They dont get that color very often unless custom ordered. The darker splashes/blues I got from the american fork ifa. Those go super quick every time though so I go pretty much the day they arrive for good pick and then they are mostly gone in a few days.

Welcome, newcomers! I can't even keep track of everyone, anymore. I must be an old timer, haha

and darn proud of it.

So my second batch of turkey eggs was a total scratch, as well. I must be stupid, because I'm getting ready to put some Icelandic eggs in that awful incubator. DH keeps wanting to get me a better one, and I keep telling him no because we have more important things to save for. I must be sick.

Oh red I am so sorry. Let me see if I have an extra incubator

Hubby's NN eggs came today and we were so excited (I think I almost gave him a heart attack when I remembered they were supposed to be here today and gasped/squealed very loudly in the car). They were waiting for us when we got home, YAY! We got 14 NN eggs total, 10 + 4 extras to account for loss which is good because one did break. Then SURPRISE, bonus Serama egg! We were pretty dang excited :) I know we shouldn't get our hopes too high, as they are shipped eggs, but we are happy nonetheless! Happy early father's day hgillins!

Quote: Oh, thank you for the reply. That english game looks lovely. I have been sizing up my set up recently, and I think I actually should make it a little bigger before adding on another member right this minute, but if you still have him by then, I will be sure to keep you in mind, and pm you just in case.

I am ssoooo excited my naked neck baby and a couple of the Americana babies I just hatched are starting to frizzle. Really cute I'll try to get pictures
Sundance we only got the one Serama egg, who knows if it will even hatch! H was like "look how tiny this egg is! Oh! It's a Serama egg!" I even told him that you were getting some Serama from someone up our direction. Please post pics, I wanna see a frizzled NN!

welcome all nice to see so many people from the eastern part of the state. I took a quick trip to logan today. Dropped of a partridge silkie rooster that was suppose to be a hen tp Lisa Casa de Polo and picked up a couple of Seramas from Liz. Pretty drive up the canyon

Oh no, it wasn't from one of mine? I can't remember if I gave you a Partridge or now, I know there was the White, the Chocolate, and Partridge? I'm so sorry, but they were only about 4 weeks old when I gave them to you, I'm so sorry if it was mine.

Im excited for tomorrow. We are going to pick up my chickies a nice big run. Its going to be their sheltered run to keep them dry & safe and then I hope to make room for another turn out area where they can play in the sun when they are being monitored. I can set there run into two different sizes and I am wondering which you guys think is better? I can make it 6ftx22ft long, or 12ftx16ft long. Maybe its a be a dumb question, but im having a hard time deciding which is better? The length or width for a silkie coop? If I make it longer then I would have a wider turn out space in front of it, and if I make it wider it would look nicer in this spot but might not leave much of a turn out space. Im going to cover the top with a weather proof tarp and then fill it with sand. Just trying to decide how to set the run up lol.

Lost my pet turkey again. One of the chickens would NOT stop picking on her, so I went in the run to catch the chicken. Turkey got scared and flew off and now I can't find her. I'm so mad right now. And then to top it off, several hens ran in the coop where my broody is and were breaking and eating her eggs. Ugh!
