Utah!

When I asked this sweet little sis if she would like to do something special to celebrate preschool graduation, she told me she just wants to have a sleep over tonight in the coop with her chickies! :) She sure does love her girls! (Almost as much as her mama does!)

Love this picture. So cute!

Oh red I am so sorry.  Let me see if I have an extra incubator

Sorry, didn't see this until now. I appreciate your offer but I don't know what to do. I'm tired of trying and failing with eggs, and I must not be very good at it :/

The partridge silkie she brought me was one she picked up in Arizona :D, He is 6 + months old, GORGEOUS boy! Will need to get a pic of him. He is already mating the black showgirl and white showgirl hens, yay! My little black roo is getting along splendidly in the same pen too, so things are going well.

Red, your birds are being a handful. They need to go in time-OUT~~! Stinkers. What is it about the luck with turkeys? Gah. If you need me to get any from birdguy when I go to Idaho next let me know, I would be glad to help out. :hugs

Thanks Lisa. Might take a break from turkeys for a while. I just feel discouraged, ya know? There's always next year, though :)

I am looking for a small sized rooster to go with my 8 lovely hens, preferably a serama or any other light colored bantam that is friendly, and at least 6 months old. Is anyone selling within 30 miles of Lindon, UT?

I have a nice quality white silkie roo. He's only 2 mths and I don't wanna give him up but im pretty sure he's a boy and it's going to have to happen. He's such a good looking boy.

grats on getting your run! personally, I would do what you feel fits best for your yard... either way you do it, it's going to be HUGE! and the silkies will make great use of it either way.   I guess you also have to figure out your tarp, and what size it is.

Thanks bitsy! I was looking online and I can find tarps the exact size if I made it 12x16. I guess ill have to just set it up as both to get the best visual and then decide then lol :) we're going to pick it up now. Im so excited over a chicken run haha.
