Does anyone breed silver laced wyandottes. I'm looking for a pure bred silver laced Wyandotte rooster.

Get ahold of ChickenHill. Tisha has the best Wyandottes ever.She has silver, Blrw and bantams.

I am thinking about selling a couple of my silkie babies that I have watched a lil while & I think I will sell so that I dont have a million babies. Just kinda going through the ones I know I want to keep

I have 5 I think I will sell for now, and probably more in another month when ive watched them longer.

I have the 8 week old super fluffy bearded white baby that I think could be a roo, but everyone else thinks could still be a pullet

Then I have two 1 1/2-2wk old bearded black babies. No vaults, but nice fluffy cheeks & feathering.

Then a 2wk old Blue baby that could be a dark splash (has lots of silver in wings with flickering) but im guessing she'll turn blue. She is non-bearded but has a nice vault and pretty soft expression to her face

Then I have one 2wk old partridge silkie thats coming in a nice light color. No vault, or beard but should turn out a pretty color.

I get good girly vibes from this blue, and the blacks so far and I always go off from my gut feeling If anyone would be interested let me know. I'll be putting them on ksl in a few days. I am noticing alot of hatcheries are slowing down this time of year so they should go fast. Especially since Lindon nursery has had people reserve entire batches both times so far! And the american fork ifa is finished getting in anymore this year. I guess silkies are popular this year lol I havent had any trouble selling them so far, so im going to probably stick with asking $10 each for now.

And Cynthia, You mentioned you may have a couple of babies you've been watching that your thinking about selling? If you decide to sell any of your vaulted ones, please let me know. I'd love to take one more if noone else claims it I have a couple of nice vaulted white babies with great beards (same gal I got my fancy vaulted black from I showed you) that i'm happy to trade ya to if you want a few more whites to watch

I may be interested in your blue.... problem is, I'd have to get 2, because they need a buddy and I can't decide between a black or partridge.... and I may be out of town until the 9th of June, so I'd have to wait until then if you'd be willing to hold them for me.....

If you need help deciding, then I think the blacks are going to look better then the partridge because they are fluffy around the face. But the partridge is closer to the blue's size/age. They are all pretty cute. I might have a lil trouble holding them for two weeks if someone else comes really wanting them as I am trying to downsize while they are younger so I have less of a bunch to take care of lol.

I may end up having to send the black (which I think is either a brindle, or partridge) up with my other roo to my sister (that way she can have a silkie lol). It also seems like it's becoming a bit of an outcast with the flock, I often see it off alone.... or my female cochin chases it off...

Oh my goodness she's changed soo much since the last I saw her! She actually has a lil crest now lol. Do you reeeally wanna know my guess? I think her comb is looking an awful lot like a roo It's going up pretty high and looks raised. I dont want to discourage you yet because its still young and even some females from different silkie lines can still have larger combs. She looks like she is suppose to be black but has brown leakage is all. Im learning a little more about colors. I wouldnt say she's partridge though. She has way too much black with just a little brown so I think its just some brown in her lineage that leaked through. Your white one however is looking alot more girly. How about a front view of hers? So far im guessing girl on that one

Well from this shot, she still looks girly. The comb is a little wide like a boy (alot like the white one im going to sell that I think is a roo) but then I have a buff the same age who has a similar wider comb like this also and she still looks girl to me. So I am guessing by her face, comb, and vibe that this one is looking like a girl to me at least in this shot. How old is she? I noticed your white is non-bearded, and my blue is non-bearded also so I bet they'd look nice together. The partridge would actually look nice in this clan to then, as its also non-bearded. The blacks will have little beards and probably average size crests Let me know which ones you decide on (I posted pics a few posts up) and let me know when you'd like to come get them
