Utah!

Well from this shot, she still looks girly. The comb is a little wide like a boy (alot like the white one im going to sell that I think is a roo) but then I have a buff the same age who has a similar wider comb like this also and she still looks girl to me. So I am guessing by her face, comb, and vibe that this one is looking like a girl to me at least in this shot. How old is she?
in that pic, she was probably 6 weeks old? the first of the white pics, were from today, and that makes her about 8 or 9 weeks old?

oh, I found a couple of pics you might find interesting Iluv :) (found on another section of the BYC forums)

Hey thats neat! I'll have to apply this in with my tracking and see how many are right :) Although I am looking at a couple pics of my white pullet at 8wks and her beak is curving down at the tip and I have no doubt shes a girl lol. I am thinking the beak theory is just another fun guess, but I think its probably just genes ;) I have a sizzle chick right now with the funkiest super curved beak, it makes me laugh everytime I look at it lol.

Squee!!! I am on day 17 with some chocolate orpington bantams. It's been a very fun exciting time around here! We started out with 7 shipped eggs in our brinsea mini advance. After a couple of little hiccups we are down to 2 eggs. I have heard that sometimes bantam eggs can hatch early... well, after checking my water levels and making sure everything looked good... one of my eggs moved! I thought maybe it was my eyes. Nope! It's not rockin' n rollin' But it is definitely moving. :)

But now I'm not sure what to do! Should I lock them down? Isn't it too early for lockdown? help! I can't sit still! It's too bad that I already went for my run this morning. I feel like I could run a marathon right now!

Congrats! If it were me, I'd put them in lock down. Cause usually the egg moving is them getting into position to pip. If the egg keeps turning, they could malposition. This is just my opinion... So others should peep in too.

I just checked my broody as well... And I HAVE chicks too! My first broody clutch. I only saw one... And noticd another has pipped. I did t dAre move hem around. The one that pipped is gorgeous! A wheaten barred rock mix, I believe. It's a pretty blue color. Pics to come.
