Utah!

I adopted all my chicks and one hen at the adoptathon, I didn't let Hercules go as they wanted him for meat and thats not an option for him. He is too sweet and valuable to be eaten. I asked Cynthia if she could go to orem for me and take his picture for me. I left him in orem as I didn't want him riding in my new Cadillac with my grandkids. I forgot my camera when I went to Orem. He is a nice boy. Cynthia saw him at the adoption fair. You can ask her how pretty and quiet he is

Hey guys I want to know what your favorite rare breed of chicken is. I am breeding americanas and silver laced wyandottes and want to get another breed.

Beautiful boy all right. I am not sure about tomorrow Diana. Have to ask hubby first what is going on with his day. Might find some time. I really dread going to see him again..tooooooo tempting!! Is he a nice boy when you walk out there by him..doesn't come after you? I have so many grand children, and I know you do..but you said he is sweet..he must be sweet on the ladies, because those eggs are looking good already! Didn't you say they were fertilized by him? Man, I may have to go look and see where I could put my two month old pullets..I just can't think of where though. He would probably go after them. :/

Just a sweet pic I wanted to share of my only partridge baby girl Shirley. She's such a sweet, calm baby. One of the few that will cuddle and fall asleep on me. I also love her huge top knot! :)

And also wanted to announce my baby boy just turned 1yrs old yesterday! Where did the time go?! I still feel like he should be a newborn lol. I cant believe i'm about to have another one in Aug. Three is a good number for me lol.

Tell, I have Icelandic eggs in the bator that are close to hatching. Awesome old, rare breed. PM me if you are interested.

Erykah, this may be unorthodox, but try having your menfolk pee along the fence. Not sure how long a dog will stay away, but it helps a lot with most other predators. If you haven't done so already, I would definitely approach the owner and try to work things out civilly first, but be clear that you will not tolerate a vicious dog in your yard. If it goes after birds, it could go after other animals or small children. That's my thought, anyway. If you have to, shoot. The owner was warned.

Abko, have you tried RIR or GSL? I have a Rhodey and she is very good with people. Very friendly, very bold. Some RIR's can be a little bossy, though.

Rural, I love your ducklings! DH says no ducks until we are in Delta, lol. Pooh! I'd love Khaki Campbell's or Magpie ducks.

Cynthia, I think one of my girls laid double like that as a pullet. Weirdest thing ever.

Sundance, love your new babies! That little buff is gorgeous!

Turnip, I agree - I have had neighbors whose yappy dogs are WAY more obnoxious than chickens. It doesn't seem fair :(

Okay, did I miss anyone?
