Utah!

Hi everyone. I have some chicks up for grabs. Three are Silkie/EE from a light blue egg. And one is Silkie/BLRW. I'm going to put them up for sale on KSl but will be glad just to re home them with my Friends here. If anyone is interested send me a pm. They are very healthy and happy. There is one that is a really nice light blue. All have feathered feet and 10 toes and blue skin.

ah bugger.... if I thought it would do okay with the 4 week olds I just got, I'd snatch one! :( the last two are so cute :)

Wow. Cynthia, that blue roo is stunning! Lisa, I hope Cinders ends up looking like that. Gorgeous!

Rural, all I gotta say is that Lisa is a huge sweetheart, and such a charming host

Lisa......too bad I don't live closer to you. I've got a couple of roos that would probably fix that hen real quick......one of my boys is a total softie, but the alpha roo thinks he's Mr. Macho and the third boy is young and super insistent on doing his job, haha. I had to put my psycho hen with him the other day because she would NOT stop picking on everyone. He put her in her place pretty quick.

Speaking of chicks.....I have a total of six beautiful, healthy babies from my hatch.

oh red they are beautiful what kind are they? They don't look like Turkeys.

Playing with the older fluffy butts!
Dixie & the blue baby I got from Cynthia. Look how fluffy little Luna is getting! They were all swarming over my son to get the spilled fishy crackers on his lap, haha.

I may be driving next week to Southern California to pick up some Seramas. OC Seramas is pretty big in the show community. She has over 400 birds. She is going to work with me on teaching the Seramas to show because they are shown on tabletops in Serama show not just in cages. I just need to find a chicken sitter. I'm pretty excited

Beautiful! Dixie is still looking great! What a gorgeous girl! That blue is going to be pretty too! I always wondered why the muff/beards go away for a while, then come back by the time they are 8/9 months old. Happens with EE's too. Dixie didn't have a beard like that until she was 8 months old.

Need to breed Dixie with a pretty roo. :)

Not sure you mean 8mths old, since you told me she was 5-6mths when I got her lol ? Yes she's beautiful! And I agree the blue is going to be very pretty, she's the best looking baby ive had at this age so far! I cant wait to see what her crest/beard is going to do when she gets bigger. She's such a doll and getting alot of personality now. She loves treats and isent afraid of being picked up, and will come right to you :) If I were to breed I would definitely use her, and dixie. I think they look the best :) My lil white one is looking pretty good to. I just had to trim around her eyes because the crest & beard were so fluffy that she couldnt see a thing! It was getting huge lol. Her face was a perfect circle before I trimmed it. The lil orange buff has a tall crest but not very round/full yet so im waiting to see if hers will get bigger with age. Then I have 5 more babies (much younger) that I am watching also. 3 splash, 1 black, 1 partridge. :)

Nice looking birds Iluvmysilkies. I love white silkies over all other colors. The look like they are all high and mighty.

Is anyone interested in some 7 week old Silkies. I have 3 blues for sale and 1 partridge. I am keeping the splash for now hoping its a pullet. Sorry about the pictures but if you are interested i can take some individual picture. My chickens are not lap pets so its hard to catch them. But that's what treats are for right. sorry pict heavy

These are the little ones i thought were Silkies but have smoothed feathers. They have huge vaults. Since my frizzle was laying in the box before she went broody I'm starting to think they might be smooth sizzle. They are the same color as the sizzle they hatched with. once again bad pictures. i thought it was hard enough trying to get pictures of a chick behind 1 broody hen, i wasn't ready for 2 blocking me. (and spike is a biter)

and this one is for Amanda and Aubrey
