Utah!

Aww red..sorry for your loss. I know the love of a grandmother. And I loved mine..my mom's mom.
Sounds like she was ready to go home.

I'm organizing my grow out pens and I have some extra pullets available including 4 mahogany based jubilee orpington and two blue orpington. Average age is 6 weeks old.

I would love a couple of the jubilee's as well, especially since I saw Sundance's (I thought I was hooked on the speckled sussex!). My husband's going to Clearfield...but I'm certain I couldn't talk him into going the few extra blocks to Idaho. :)

Hey, hope everyone is doing well. I had to skip the last few pages, so sorry if I missed anything. My grandma passed the other night and today was the funeral. I'm relieved she is no longer suffering from health issues.

Couple of things - We had some dogs get into our turkey pen this morning and chase my two toms out. They chewed the one up pretty good. We found both turkeys and got them back okay. No idea who's dogs it was, but I suspect the neighbors behind us that sound like they have the pound in their yard

And, I got my game cam up tonight! I was waiting on the huge capacity memory card I'd ordered for it, and it came today. So I tried to place the camera in a discreet place outside. We'll see what turns up. It can record for more than two weeks with this card in it. We may get some shots of the deer here, too.

So sorry to hear about your grandma Red. It's never easy, no matter the circumstance.

We have a game cam too and should use it more. We were trying to get the mtn lion but only got some elk/deer and my husband lol.

Diana..I had a cute little chipmunk baby hatch last night. Golden, with feathered feet and toe. Who would the mama be? And, who is the mama to the blues? I think I know who the dad is.

The yellow non NN just has a big black dot on it's head, and a black spot on it's back..I thought it was a stripe, but it's just a spot. Pretty good sized.

the chipmonk babies are out of the cream legbar, The blues are a blue Americana and the Non nn may frizzle. Both mine and lisas that had a black spot frizzled. sounds like you had a pretty nice hatch

chicken train. I don't mind taking a trip to Pawtraits but would need everyone to chip in for gas and to pay for their birds in advance. I love to do road trips in my new cadillac. See what you guys can work out and let me know

Yes I had a great hatch, 10 with this one. The second doz. that Brandi brought, I only have 8 left, but are going strong.

Legbar? No wonder that egg was a nice blue, well, all of the blues are a pretty blue. :) She is looking girly already..has a straight comb.

Yours are the last ones I'll be hatching this summer. I have a lot of babies to watch for my winter flock. There is one that is blue with some brown on her..love her! I want it to be a her! So sweet already..came from a real pretty blue blue egg. And I have already thought that the yellow one with the spots had a kind of kinky look to the end of the fluff feathers already. Those will go, then come the frizzle. Will be interesting to see. Looks like a boy.
Mama hen is taking good care of those out side. :) If that NN is a boy frizzle, did you want him?
A few blacks that came from pretty blue eggs too.

thanks :) if it's only me that needs one from them here in Utah County, I can pass... not that I wouldn't like to help chip in, I just don't want you all to do that just for me. but thank you for being willing! I'm sure I can find one closer around 6 weeks ;) or, I can just do ducks eventually lol
