Utah!

Liz is setting 30+ of my silkie SG eggs for me, I am going to be out of town so she is the bator sitter! Woot! Thanks Liz!

Silly--so you are coming up from UT county, to the airport, then back to UT county, right? Is Taylorsville on your way home at all if I get ahold of Sundance? Can you think of anybody else that is on both of our routes if she is not able to do it? I am coming down from Logan through SLC, then out West to the edge of West Valley City, and can take any small detours along the way. Thank you so much for helping out! Cynthia and I are at the opposite ends of the world LOL

Its not the Salt Lake International, but the small Airport that is in West Jordan, really west. I think its like 7600 South. But I think Taylorsville is around there somewhere just way East of where I will be.

Oh goodness, Elk! When did this happen? I assume you're okay? I hope so! Sounds like you got beat up pretty good. I hear ya on the divine intervention - I was handling our Arabian who's more spooky than my husband's horse, and I thought for sure I was going to get trampled when he spooked yesterday. For some reason, he stopped and decided to try and go away from me, though. Good thing I kept hold of that lead rope so I could yank him, lol. I did get a nice lump on my chin where he hit me - right where I cut it open when I was 7, funny enough. That was my first experience being bulldozed by a horse. Quite interesting. Wouldn't care to repeat it.

Cynthia, I love Missy. She has such a sweet face. I wish we were set up for a dog so I could get one of her puppies. We won't have dogs until we're in Delta getting the farm going, though. Dangit.

Sorry, Lisa. That's what I was worried about when I moved - a gap in the chicken train stations! :D hope things work out.

So, I take it that there are a lot of silkies babies on the way? Or are you guys setting other eggs under broody silkies? Babies. I miss them. But on the other hand..I don't miss the babies in the house.
My room is cute again! Bought a new bedspread. There is room in there, I can walk around. lol

I have 4 Silkies eggs under my Broody Silkie. 3 Splash and 1 White/Splash I think, Got them from Gary. So yes I have 4 on the way. Thank heavens with mom. I finally took the brooder out. I had it setup in the loft for over a year. Its so nice to have it 100% cleaned out, and the space back.

Airport Number Two? That's in the Kearns area, so not too far from West Valley, really. Sorry, had to butt in.

I talked to Diana, she might be out of town, so need to keep searching for a chickie sitter. :D

I wish I had a little more time, we are headed straight down after work. Anybody know where Lilwanis moved to?

I had a senior horse go down by my front entry. I was on the steps above him (thought in a safe place), had a rope in one hand, the vet on the phone with the other and he gave it his all and used me as leverage (with his neck/chest) to get up. Slammed me into wood railing and cracked some ribs. I was so glad he got up I didn't care.

Weird thing is, that railing should have broke. It wiggled before, so I'm pretty sure something divine saved my life.

Us horse owners have it tough sometimes! Either a horse is hurt or us at least once a year....no matter how careful, safe, cautious one is.

ok you horse owners. I have a bad urge to ride. Does anyone one have a really bomb poof horse this old grandma can ride
