Utah!

Hey Utah peeps, I have a friend in SLC who is looking for a polish hen of any age to get as a companion for her special needs hen. Can anyone help?

Hey, I'm the friend!

While my overwhelming preference is a Polish, I'd consider a second special needs hen as well. Or if you have an especially docile hen that wouldn't kick the butt of a special needs hen in a smaller enclosure, I'd consider that as well.

Can anyone help with that? Thanks!

Edit: P.S. - No roosters! I'm not zoned for them!

The show is over and it was really fun. On saturday they had a bird auction and a really nice varity of birds. OK I am a sucker for an auction. I am now the proud owner of a pair of Modern games, They are the bantams with the really long legs. I guess they will be making the trek to arizona with me. I al bought two rabbits a pair of chuckers and a pair of pigeons. The pigeons went to my grandson the rabbits to my grand daughter and the chuckers are going to oklahoma to my friends ranch. The Seramas were such a big hit, I could have sold a hundred birds if I had them, The table top show was great and everyone enjoyed watching such and unusual feature at a chicken show. The dogs were with us of course. They were in our dog buggy enjoying the attention. People went nuts over my new puppy. I am going to start a waiting list for when she has her puppies next year, She is a chocolate toy schnauzer. She will be about 7 pounds as an adult. She is a fun little dog with a charming personality.

Whats wrong with your special needs hen and what size is she?

One other neat thing while I was at the show I had three Seramas hatch. I also have a couple frizzle pulltets for sale they are 5 months old. Their mother was my Duncle Mille Fleur. Dad was Ernie the blue sizzle I had. I am asking 12.00 each

Ohh Ace, that looks so yummy! I made a couple of small batches of pie filling years ago with my grandparents, but it's all used up by now. Does anyone have any apples they want to get rid of? Haha.

I have a 19 week old special needs Breda fowl that would be a terrific match she is so gentle (most breda are)we call her Egore she walks with a little hitch and has no tail( looks like a hunch back) she dosent move around much, and gets left be hide from all the others(she cant keep up)she is really sweet and has never been mean to anyone. she really could use a gentle friend to sit buy and not worry about being picked on.she try's to snuggle up to some of the other hens but they dont spend to much time with her. she is lonely.she may be just what you need Stands with a fiddle. i'm in is taylorsvile (SLC)

Yeah. We did apple pie filling. We are suckers for some good apple crisp or Dutch oven cobbler.

. That recipe looks great!

If anyone is wanting to try this, go less sugar!! Like, only two cups is plenty!
