Utah!

Really? Would you consider it Olive colored? It is definitely not the bright blue I've been getting. I was shocked because I thought the Wheaten Ameracauna's bright blue gene would dominate the duller color of the Easter Egger.
yeah is that what a olive egg looks like? if so i have a olive egger lol. edit: sorry i should of just done these two posts in a multi quote but was not thinking. i apologize

Hey guys! I'm new on here!!! I'm glad I found a chicken thread thread here in Utah!!!!! I live in central Utah south of Nephi. I love my chickens and am so glad I have an outlet now for all my questions and just to talk 'chicken talk'. I'm glad I found ya'll!!!!! I am the proud owner of a wide variety of orpingtons, wyandottes, barnevelders, marans, and my beloved bielfelders. Hope to be on here often!

I see the breeds here. We are in Spanish Fork, my hubby and his family are from Nephi. Know any Worwoods?

I don't. Sorry. But I'm glad to hear from people from my own backyard. We used to live in American fork but found not enough room there for all the animals we wanted. Love the openness down here and all the crowing (even at 5 a.m.).lol. Love my chickens!!!

I will be selling this spring. Right now I am not seeing much breeding activity. Some, but not enough for me to feel good about the egg fertility rate right now. I can't wait for all my 6 mo old hens to start laying.( I did find 2 LF red orpington eggs today) first ones of that breed to lay. Waiting on my creles, mottled/spangles, and jubilees. It will be a GOOD spring!!!

welcome Farmchick1959
will you be selling bielfelders chicks soon Iv tried shipping eggs in and have no success on hatching I would love eggs or chicks when available
Im also looking for Barbanters if anybody has them local. shipped eggs are not working 1 hatch out of 40 eggs bad expensive odds. I will have bresse eggs and/or chicks this spring if anyone is interested(I hope) I have hatched what I think are 3 girls and a boy so hopfully eggs and chicks in spring. does anyone here have any experiance with Bresse they are my first
