WHAT DO YOU MEAN YOU DON'T NEED 4 BRODDY'S NEXT YEAR! Just think of the possibilities! You can hatch anything you want and you don't have look at the eggs from the time you set them until the hatch. You don't have to worry about heat, humidity. power failure, and the all night er making sure every little egg makes it. You can hatch pheasants, ducks, quail, chickens, geese, the list goes on! And you don't have to worry about anything! Did i mention i have chicks. I have the cutest little Sizzle! It has more beard then any Silkie i have every seen and its wing feathers are starting to curl already at 5 daysWell I don't know what they are, its kind of frustrating, at least they are gorgeous to look at. Really I'm not going to keep the black on, unless I decided to rehome my black/partridge looking on that is going to be 2 next May. I don't need 4 Broody Silkies next year. I think when the next one goes Broody I'm going to have to make a trip up to Lisa or meet her to get some Maran eggs. I need a new batch for next year. My only girl will be 2 this spring, and she doesn't lay very well because she is a special needs girl.
