Utah!

Cute little poofballs :) Aww.

Lisa, I wonder if Yoshi has some hidden partridge genes? That's pretty fun to see that showing up of a sudden in your flock!

RJ, your chickens are very spoiled :D

Ok one more batch of hatch pics. Mostly the usual monochrome batch, but there are a few colorful ones

Here are some photos of the one that .. was..silver. And the one that was chipmunk, a lot like your first baby Lisa.
Look at the top of ..what I fear is..his..head. Wish it could just be a large girl. :) Silver down the neck. A Partridge for sure.

Here's the little chipmunk..she is very small compared to the others, but I did have to help
her along in the beginning. She is a little goer now.

Here they are together, and that Dominique is super friendly. :)

Have to add these two photos..an older pullet that I hatched from one of Brandi's eggs..Hercules is the dad..pretty cute.

Wow, she sure changed ALOT. And looks like a smooth sizzle now. They all are cuties :)

Oh Cynthia, that silver partridge(?) is so lovely! I love her color and her little hat.

I got my eggs set! We have a grand total of thirteen. It's always been a good number for me :)

For anyone in or around Tooele, the Cal Ranch in town has their bags of regular scratch feed on sale for $9.

It's good to see chicks on this thread again!

Today I was finally able to put up the bird nets on my run! No birds are getting out, and no birds are getting in.

Afternoon folks,

Red, glad you set your dirty dozen. I will be following this hatch with great interest. The Bates Motel +1 & Hotel California +1, for those of you keeping score. I had thought of stapling their tails to a long board, kinda like a trophy thing, but decided that a photograph of my 'catchings' might not go over so will with the dainty here… so though I might have done it, I am not showing it, if I did.

All these chick pictures are giving me the fever, I suspect you guys are enablers, aren't you? The Banty flock was out the other day in the back yard and the DW snapped this colorful view of my weakness…

Banty Silver Duckwing, Black Breasted Red, and Ginger OEG's and Silver Sebrights, perhaps a glimpse of a Golden Sebright too. These little hens are Chatty Katy for sure, as they scratch and hunt and peck round the place. Love this super extra nice weather, as do the birds.

Best to all and your birds,

RJ
