Where are finding RIR's? Nothing here in Utah county that I know of have chicks yet. :/

Chasehatchery.com $5 each. I thought ifa or cal ranch had some? Maybe not. Haven't seen them but heard that they might.

So not chicken related, but my fruit trees came! Eeeee!



And, remember my mulberry seed that sprouted?

You should google medical benefits of mulberry trees. From antibiotics in the roots to curing asthma in the leaves I believe, they are amazing. Plus the fruit is not only delicious and healthy it's used for many medical things as well. I love fruit trees they are a very smart and fun investment!

Oh, I have I love plants, and I love researching their uses! This little mulberry came from an old tree in what used to be my grandmother's yard. It just happened to fruit on one little branch last year, so I collected some seeds.

There are a few plant buffs on here. Birdman is quite knowledgeable, and Lisa (La Casa De Pollo) is a big gardener. I think there are others, too.

That makes me so excited I'm obsessed with two things gardening and chickens. You guys fulfill both! I love here lol

P.S. The eggs I got from the 24hour auction thread hatched today . . . All 12 of them! Not bad coming all the way from Alabama! Of the 5 I put in from my own bantams only 1 made it past the first week, she made it too though! Lucky number 13!
