Utah!

Ahhh lost my comment.

Birdman, thanks! I had a BO, but I gave her to my mom because she loves her so much. I haven't really considered Brahmas, but only because of the fluffy feet.

I'm soooo excited for tomorrow :) I'm getting a bday present that I am so eager to meet!! He will be arriving tomorrow afternoon :) lots of pictures to come haha.

thank you michelle! I will keep you updated with him:)

I have no idea where that last comment of mine came from! Lol!

I went into lock down Sunday night and woke up to babies yesterday morning! Such a great surprise!!! All the babies in my bitty bator have hatched, with only one assist for a huge chick. She's now doing great! My only other hatch was last year with shipped eggs. I got 1 out of 7 to hatch. It's so fun to have everybody out and healthy!

The sweet lady I got the eggs from told me that the blue eggs were either ameraucanas or EEs. But, the babies don't have puffy cheeks... hmmm... they actually look an awful lot like CCLs. I know that she has them...but, no way am I that lucky. I have wanted CCLs forever, at least since I first heard about them

I sent her a pic last night to see what she thought... She just called. Aaahhhh! They're CCLs! Her husband must have grabbed the wrong eggs by mistake! I am so over-the-moon excited! So far I have 3 pullets and 1 roo. Happy dance! Plus I have some sweet little mystery black chicks that came from bitty white eggs.

Also....love, love, love my BOs! Sweetest chickens ever!

Wow how lucky on the legbars. If you decide you can part with one of the females, I'll gladly buy it from you. I've been thinking about trying to find one for a blue egg outside. :D

Abko, score!! :D That's a pretty awesome mistake!

I am setting more Icelandic eggs today. I calibrated my thermometer and found that it's about a half a degree off, so not too bad. I am trying a different room for the bator this time. We'll see if that helps. I meant to get the eggs set yesterday, but I had to take more time for the thermometer testing.

Karen- I'm only planning on keeping one. If you really want the other one, I'll just hang on to her until you get back from visiting your sis.

Redd- good luck! I've got everything crossed for you!!! If you ever want to try my little bator after I'm done with the school hatch, you are more than welcome to it!

Are you serious? I will trade you for one of the ones that hatch out of my hatch or buy her from you. And yes that would be great if I can get her when I get back. Already driving the ones that hatch to NM and then back home for what she doesn't keep. I have BRLW and Ameraucana's hopefully they all hatch, and then some Silkies, not sure on the Hamburgs and the Houdans. And some mixes from Gary. I just hope they all hatch.
