Utah!

What!? That's terrible! I'm so sorry. You must have really bonded by now. Poor thing. Do you think the breeders knew about it?

The vet told them he had a small cataract that would not be a problem. They are nice people I don't think they knew. When he was out he knew their yard and corrals because he grew up there Dropping him off was devastating

That makes sense. I'm glad they are working with you.

So sorry Sundance. Both for you and for the breeders. I am sure he is glad to be back in familiar surroundings, though, and I hope you can find another horse soon to help you and be loved by you.

My mama turkey has had it hard already. She lost one baby to the duck pond and last night, I found another one with a foxtail stuck in it's eye. Poor thing! I took the sticker out, but now we'll have to watch it and make sure it doesn't get infected. I plan to put neosporin on there if it even starts to look infected. Sigh. Anyone have some happy news? Or pictures of your feather butts? :)

I use the cup style waterers. I just drilled a hole and twisted them into a 5 gallon water jug. They are easy to clean, do not drip, and I can hang them or put them on a block all over the yard in this heat. I purchased 5 or 6 for about 2.50 a piece.

I just use bowls. :) Bowls all over the yard in the summer. Dog dish kinds, and some people bowl kinds.

One of my turkeys is gone and something stinks outside. I am very tired of my animals getting killed :( And the baby turkey I was trying to help died. This isn't a good morning.

I do have a couple big bowls of water out on hot days. I like them to have as much as they like and they are all over the chicken yard. Looks a little messy, but they need water in this heat!

I am so sorry! You can get animal control to come and loan you a trap an then they take away what is trapped. And they have skunk traps that keep the smell in somehow.
