Utah!

Well, just wanted to let you all know, still here, still pregnant ;) I had my induction scheduled this morning, but backed out last night, because I didn't have a good feeling about it, and I was in tears last night thinking about it. Still want to try letting her come on her own.

I found a home for my ducks today. The guy has a spring fed pond, and already had 6 other welsh harlequins that he loves, and was very excited to take these ones in. I'm happy, because it's one less thing that I have to worry about after this baby gets here.

Oh Geez! I feel so bad for your preggers self! I hope it happens soon, naturally!

I hope it happens natural too, does the doc say ok, to a certain time? I had never been started with any, until my last. It went well. Good luck. Prayers that this baby comes soon!

this isn't my regular dr. I agreed to do a non stress test tomorrow, but i have refused to do an 8th ultrasound for this pregnancy.... financially, i am tired of it. My regular dr will be back on the 7th, if they start forcing me, and I don't feel comfortable about it, I'll get me a midwife and just plan on having the baby at home ;)

Glad you are getting the non stress test. Be careful. Even though the baby may be on the small, or regular size, it could be getting late. I think I would go for the ultra sound. I know...money money. But it can really show a lot on how that baby is doing. Also show how your placenta is doing.

We use a midwife every time and everything has gone great in the past. Seems like a woman's body and the baby always know when it's time.

hang in there I'm thinking of you,

Hang in there bitsy! My friend was due near the end of July and just had her baby last night. Some babies seem to need an extra week or whatever. You can do it! :)

Birdman, I too have a girl with spurs. She's my psycho hen, too. And she insists on laying in odd places like our tack shed *shrug*

I have a sister in law that was pregnant with all her 4 children for 10 mos each. She refuses to be induced when the dr tells her to each time and each time it is a completely normal natural delivery. I was finally induced 10 days after my due date with my 2nd one, (8 lbs 10 oz) with only them breaking my water and letting it happen from there, other than a big baby it all went just fine. Go with your gut (pun partially intended) and if you are waiting on your dr for only a few days go for it.

Thanks :) I think my husband, me, and the dr have come to the agreement that Friday will be when we get induced... and we may just try breaking water, or just a small dose of pitocin to get us started... I feel like we are ready anytime... just needs a bit more oomph to get it going ;) which time will tell! :D we will be 2 weeks over tomorrow.
