Utah!

ok guys I am packing for my annual trek to AZ this year is a little different as I am taking all my chcikens with me not just the Seramas. I had a coop built and delivered to the RV park it is called Cluckingham Palave South, My RV neighbors are so excited to have them there as I told them I would share the eggs with all. Lisa I am sorry about your dog but livestock predation can be a death sentence so its a good thing he is gone. I would be interested in a home made flock block please let me know how you made it. I will keep in touch with you and tell you about any chickens I run across in AZ I am taking Seramas and moderns to a huge show in tucson end of nov. take care everyone and be safe this winter

Welcome, teria! We've got several folks in your neck of the woods :D I'm up in Tooele. Glad you found us!

Sundance, be careful! We will miss you so make sure you check in and let us know how things are going. I'm glad you are taking the whole company with you. I'll have to meet Lacy next year when you're back. Have fun!

Chicken friends close to the SLC area or airport---my sister is in SLC right now and leaving to go to India for a month tomorrow. She is looking for someone who wouldn't mind letting her park her car while she is gone to avoid the long term parkinig fees (expensive!) My daughter is meeting her there in the morning, they need to be at the airport at 720 am so would be dropping the car off on their way, possibly around 7 or however long it would take to get from your place to the airport.

If anyone on here can help let me know! My other daughter lives in Roy and could possibly do it but looking for somewhere closer due to it being so early in the morning.

Welcome teria, I am up north but there are more than a few folks on BYC in your neck of the woods. Out family spent the winter of 1858 in what we called Torid or Pond Town, it went by both names prior to adopting Salem. I have been around your nice city a time or two, a nice place. I also like Goshen, but with their water problems I'll postpone a revisit anytime soon.

Sundance, be safe/drive safe. It is cool you have a winter home down south for both you and your birds. If they have the internet down there, you could always log in and share a thought or two.

Flockblock, I am going to set it out of the coop and let the deer have at it. This is my second try with a block, and neither my LF nor Banty birds seem to give a hang for or about it. But I tried again to make sure. Perhaps I could seep it and use it as a medicinal potion? And then make a poultice and pack with a bandage on said finger with the medical condition (wart). Might work. Red, thanks for the tip on the sage…

Lisa sad/glad regarding the live in predator. The birds should be loving life today, nice looking afternoon here in the Cache Valley. I am tinkering on odds and ends today, placing my own advice to use. Seems the mind is willing, but the body is weak. I love that birds get me out of the house…

Best to all and your flock(s)

RJ
