A question for my Utah friends that know much more about local laws than I: there is an AD on KSL for a couple of fighting rooster. Isn't that illegal in Utah? this is a link to the AD:

I want to barf right now. poor beautiful animals made to fight for human "entertainment"
Whats up with this?
It isn't illegal to buy or sell these birds, you just can't fight them. You can even dub them(cut extra skin off their face) but once dubbed you can't legally transport them any more.
We have trio of cock fighting American games, but the rooster has never been dubbed and we never will fight them.
I have heard that Utah is a large state for the illegal cock fighting, but never would support it and would report any that I heard was going on.
They are truly beautiful birds, very good with predators, great mothers, and are very flighty. Mine would rather stay 3+ feet from me, and the only time one has shown aggression towards me was when she had chicks. Another plus is 6-7 eggs a week per hen, great layers.
