Nice flock! And I love that big boy of yours..lol..I can almost hear him in that second photo.

And..how in the world do you get allll of those nest boxes to be used. I have six boxes. Only three get used now. One is a favorite, and if it is wanted by another hen, we have to hear about it until the one in there is done! Silly girls.

Oh my goodness Lisa! You have some cool breeds! And all of those eggs..I'm sorry, going to do a little laugh here.

Man, if I had the room back there, I would be hatching more too.

And those dark eggs! Nice. And those blue eggs! Nice nice!! lol...love the blues.

Uggums is broody. I have eggs in lock down, and they are starting to hatch. Had one hatch this morning..did a sneak job out to Uggums. This is her first time, so I am watching her today with this little. Will sneak more out as they hatch.

Look close, you can see the head in the first, then I lifted her wing. She just sat there growling at me at first, then I decided to move her off of the baby by the water. Glad I did..she drank a lot..it got hot here today. Then, I put her back over the baby. She did that wiggle waggle over the baby, so I'm not too worried.





Can't even tell she is a smooth SG. All tucked in.

Cynthia, I have a broody I separated today intending to put chicks under tonight. Only two hatched. I don't want to tend only two!

Lisa, you have a beautiful flock and beautiful eggs!! Love the one you got from Cynthia - it looks like a sheep dog chicken! Do you have any fertile eggs?
