Hi DG! Love your username and avatar! What kinds of chickens do you have?

HI, I've been coming to BYC for a couple of years now, I haven't talked to too many other Utah people here. I have 39 hens, and 3 roosters. I have BR's, red sexlinks, silverlaced wyandotte, Black sexlinks, EE, RIR, BO's, Brown Leghorns, Delawares, and a few barn yard mixes.

Lisa, those hatch a longs are waay fun!  I did the Christmas one.  That's how I got that swing for my chickens.  Sounds like they are going to have a lot of different contests going to. 

It looks fun to do it along with all the others....just scared to do it the first time haha! If I do I will be one here for your advice Will see what happens !

WOWOWOW~ What a flock! Sounds fun at your place. And Pregnant goats to boot! Oh you will have to get some baby goat pics up for us those would be adorable

That sounds like so much fun. My little sister desperately wants to buy my kids a goat. I do think it would be kind of fun, but it's weird to me that she's so enamored with the idea. I wasn't aware that she'd even petted a goat before. I've told her if she can find a fainting goat, I'm all in.

What kind of goats do you have? I have Nigerians 2 will kid this weekend and have them coming every month till June.

Oh man, have any of you ever seen a baby pygmy goat? Cutest. Thing. EVER! Especially when they're playing leapfrog over a duck.

Those hatch-alongs sound fun. I wish I could participate in one. I would looove to see what the chicks from my flock would look like, but um, it all kind of depends on if I have a girl go broody or not, heh.......

I hope you guys post pictures of your progress!

Hey all! So I'm looking at getting a new coop for my chickens as I want to get some more! Anyone know where to get a good deal on one? I've looked at KSL the past few months but haven't seen any that I'm impressed with and the custom ones are WAY to much $$$. Let me know where you got your coops! I might just have to build my own . . .
