Utah!

Oh guess what I did? Bet ya can't guess. LOL Of course you know that I ordered more eggs, but that gal from GA is selling those adorable eggs/babies again! I had to. I've shared pics with another friend, and now wish they she some, and, I'm not sure I have two girls out the ones I kept, so I will keep a couple more. Oh, I hope they work out and I get as many to hatch again. I asked her if that dark hen in the picture was the one laying the eggs with those darling dark babies, she said yes. I asked her for more of those eggs than the others..of course, the hen has to be laying them. She will ship them tomorrow. Now I will be so excited and stressed at the same time for these to hatch. I haven't been this excited in a long to time to have to do the "wait and see" thing. I love these babies. The one I kept is so laid back and easy going, as the other..tiger faced one, is more nervous when I pick her up.
Well off to the Dentist the morning! How fun.

Keep coming back to visit, ya hear?

Hi Kimmie, haven't seen you in a while.
I am with all the others wanting a legbar. Wonder how long it will be before they are affordable. Not only are those eggs pretty, but I think the birds are adorable too.

Hi muddypudles..are you from Utah? Come on and say hi!

Welcome, Donna! Here's a LINK for the Utah place that has Creme Legbars. Like Kimmy says, I don't know if they're selling hatching eggs or not. I'd love to see your BLRW chickens. Are you part of the facebook group of people trying to legalize chickens in Bountiful?

Ok Cynthia---you have hatched so many eggs you have me guessing which breed you are talking about here---is it the EE's? Seems like there have been more than one shipment from GA. or is it Ameraucanas?

Have fun at the dentist :/ Soooo glad it is not me. Donna if you get legbars you HAVE to share pics! I am jealous :p :p

Sphinx, hi!! You have been scarce :) I did not see any action on your webcam, you hatching? And how are those BLRW babies? And what are your lavs looking like....my one is REALLY looking like a boy. I am pretty sure still the little one is a girl. So many questions! lol!

Hi Shinx! I should get on your place and say hi when I go to fb. I don't get on too much, just to look around to see what my kids are up to. :)

Brad, I sent the same pictures that I have on here, to the gal that has the rest of my pencils. She says that it looks like a girl compared to the ones that she is thinking are boys, because hers has real large combs already!

I am talking about the ones that I just hatched, that are real puffy, the ones you just came down for. The one dark one that I kept is really active now, but not as active as the chipmunk one. Shouldn't have pegged it Tiger Face. And the dark one has a softer peep sound. Hope yours are all doing ok.
If you go back where we posted the link to that gals page of chickens, I posted the three. She~Rita~says that yes, that black hen with the white in it is the hen that lays the dark babies.

My lavender still looks like a girl to me too, even though someone else on BYC said it looked to be feathering out like a boy. Still too soon.

I am just going to get my teeth cleaned. Glad I don't have any problems..that I know of yet. :)

Haven't seen Brad yet today..hope you are feeling ok today Brad.

Oh geez those EE babies are the cutest little things EVER. Fun to get more, and the egg colors are so pretty too :) Atlchick, right? Will have to remember her, good seller, good eggs, cute babies, good shipping, good hatch rate :) So did you keep the dark one that looks like one of mine, that you brought when we met? and a reddish chipmunk? I looked at that picture again, the dark one is pretty, and fluffy. You can see that coffee color in her. Mine are doing really good. The lighter striped one, squatty ha ha, is super sweet, seems to like petting and closes her eyes and settles in when I hold her. She actually seems like she would rather be held than back in the brooder. The darker one is a little more skittish, but still pretty sweet. Both are way more mellow than Ozzie and the Ameraucana. THose two are hard to catch, fast little things dart all over when my hand goes in. I love them all though, the Ameraucana is really buff colored, is there such a thing as splash with no spots?

Nice clean teeth. :)

I remember one of the Austrlorps getting lose in my room, and I was on hand and knees chasing that little bugger around! They just need to be handled more. The light one has yellow in it now, that should go away. The feathers coming in looked pretty much blue. IF..it is a splash, you may not see any spots for a while, plus some splash aren't splashed that much, and are lighter spots. Hmmm, light hen, bluer egg? :)) Oh Lisa, you can only hope. I sure hope you get a pretty blue egg from one of the colored egg layers!
