Hey Guys! I'm in Utah Co. If you know anyone that wants to buy chicken waterers like the avian aqua meisers, I'll be making some towards springtime to sell! And for WAY cheaper than you can find them online!

I'm in the UC as well. I'd be interested in something. I have right now a 2 gallon bucket with nipples but am getting more chicks soon so I need something bigger. I don't know if it's possible but I've seen some awesome setups with fairly large reservoirs (like 20 gallons) and nipples attached to PVC pipes. That would be something I'd be willing to purchase as I'd only need to fill it like once a week. I could do it myself but for the right price I'd buy it to save time.

Wow, have to tell..ok, Lisa, that blue that you got from me, that is a question mark..lol..we are all waiting to see what it turns out to be. Hoping it's at least a girl. Today, I get a call from the P.O. Eggs from the folks that weren't sure what was going on with the little chipmunk in the mix, so, they weren't kidding when they said they were sending me more. They said they show their birds, and would send me more of the BBS. 22! One was broken, but I'm not complaining. The color of the eggs are really pretty. Yes, there are green ones in there, the kind I would like to get, and...there are blue ones! So, like I said Lisa, when all of my blue and green laying eggs are done, I will have to come up that way. Scott and I can go to SLC any time next month, that is if he isn't sick. Poor guy. He was so sick yesterday, and I even got sick later on, but not like him. He still doesn't look good to me. I'm making him take it easy today. He's still tired..tummy thing.
I have never done Silkie eggs, so, going to try. Pretty colors there too.
I pretty much have what I want for my new flock. I have extras though, in case I get a meanine, or one that just gets picked on. I will have a nice flock by the end of the summer.
Still wondering what's up with my barred rock!? No egg yet.
I am going to try something for fun. It may work or may not. We will see. I am going to ... real quick...try video taping somthing..who knows, you may get a tour of my "egg bators" if this works. I want to video tape the clipping of wings. So will try this first. See ya!
Well, that worked out real well, Not! I had it, then lost it? I'm soo computer savvy!

I have two that I am watching for you. The one that I had my friend bring back over is getting..ahem..panty looms as I like to call it. More so than the one that I had for you, so I am thinking girl "for sure" on her. Looks like a twin to the other, they all look pretty much the same, except the one I sent back with her, the lacing was lighter, and we are pretty sure that was a boy..bit comb!
I have one little BO I'm pretty sure is a girl. I should get a picture of her..that, I know I can do.
I guess to get a video, you have to have the url..ummm..looked for that on there, didn't see what they were talking about..I have the video in my pictures now. Oh well...someday when I'm done hatching..LOL..I will have that on video for family to see. They should get a kick out of it.
Going to get a pic of the girl BO.
Here she is..feathering out pretty quick.. Not sure when you wanted your girl/girls..the weather is going to be bad for a while, but I figure/hope, Mach will start getting warmer.

Brad, when I say I have two pencils I'm watching for you, I don't mean that I have two for you..I know you don't want two..I read that again and saw how it could look. I mean that I am watching two, to make sure there is a girl.
And, not sure you wanted this little Buff, but she is here if you want her..just let me know.

Cynthia--22 eggs wow!! No kidding they are trying to make it up to you. That was really nice of them. I will keep my eye on here to see what you get from those Depending on how many girls I end up with here I may want another. That little white one is looking splash in coloring, one black/gray feather coming in on the shoulder, one more tiny one I can see popped out yesterday on its side. The rest is getting quite white. On the fence with gender.... at first I thought boy, then you thought maybe girl.....I do not have a brother/sister chick to compare it to so I have no idea. The lavenders are sure turning purplish gray. Pretty feathers! The smaller one still looks like a female. The bigger one is getting this long neck. weirdish big head, still has huge feet and the comb is still growing..and I have noticed when I put my hand in he acts like he is protecting the other one, he really comes at me. If I touch the small one the big one goes nuts. Funny huh! I have a home for him though, if he is for sure a boy. I really feel pretty sure. I just want to keep him with the other one so that when they go in the coop they will have a buddy. After they adjust, I will take the boy out and rehome him. They are in the garage now, with 60 w bulb, I think two weeks then I will try putting them in the coop. The black one, Ozzie is in between, I am going to keep her with the splash, and two EE. They will go out there after the lavs adjust. Hope my big girls behave :/ :/
The scoop so far on the two EE chicks---combs are the same, the striped from the green egg has longer wispy wing feathers by far, but not much tail. The brown one from the blue egg has short and round wing feathers, but a perky obvious tail. Feet the same. Who knows? We will have to compare pics in another week or so of the babies to see if that helps me guess

I hope you too start to feel better! No fun being sick...even worse when the nurse is feeling sick too! Hope you can rest. When are your next eggs due to hatch? Araucanas right?

D6----If you explain what that is, maybe give us a picture...I might be interested!

oh she is cute! i am very eggcited for them! you know if you have to hold onto them longer i will make it right and pay you more for them

chicks are a lot of work i know. thank you for doing what you are doing and thank you for the picture! just make sure you get a pencil rock girl too. how is the wind where you all are? it is very windy here. i think i may have some trees come down, i have my eye on them. power trucks are out everywhere in the west jordan area so i would not be surprised if the power goes out. will have to check the roof for damage later EDIT yes if the bo looks like a girl i want her. and yeah i knew what you mean about the silver rock. plus i only want one lol

Birdman, I hope the wind does not do any damage for you. The wind scares the dickens out of me, I hate it. Something always breaks or gets ruined. It was windy here earlier, not terrible.....I hear we are going to get dumped on again though. Had more snow this morning, yesterdays had melted. This next few days will be WET so crossing fingers for no water under our house. AND that my newly driving teenage daughter manages the slick roads ok

Oh no Brad! Wind? I see sunshine right now. Good luck..hope nothing falls over, or off! Hope the power stays on too, that's one of my biggest worries when the wind kicks up.
