I have a couple of questions for everyone.

How long will chicks be available to purchase?

I am also still trying to find some good deals on wood to build a coop.. anyone know of someone that is getting rid of some extra wood? or of a place where i can buy some for really cheap...

I am looking to make a 3'x4'x4' hen house and a 5'x8'x8' run.

Please help...

We had a really busy morning- three chicks hatched within just a few minutes. Fred still hasn't hatched, which concerns me since I'm leaving in an hour and won't have access too him again til Monday morning.

I always have chicks. Right now, I have Blue, Black, and Splash Ameraucanas, I have some Exchequer leghorns to set tonight..they will be ready in three weeks. I have Silkies going into lock down this Tues. I have Welsummer chicks coming in about three week too. Love these breeds for laying! Pretty dark eggs, and speckled. Also, if you haven't seen the Exchequer leghorns, look them up, and nice change from just the white leghorn in color. They lay often, they're leghorns!

About where do you live? I usually get my chicks form IFA. About 6 months ago I moved from Cedar City, to Moroni. The IFA in Ephraim (which is the closest to Moroni) are already done selling there chicks. Whereas last year, the IFA in cedar was still selling them at the end of summer. It really depends. Or you can get some chicks from Cynthia12
