Whew, am I behind! You guys are busy on here! Talkin chicks, sellin chicks, tradin chicks, and doin some more talkin chicks! LOL

Lisa..those baby BLRW are pretty, and if they turn out like their mamas,,,oh man! Now that's what I'm talking about. Those mom hens are beautiful! The one looks a lot like the one I had. She was so pretty.
I didn't know Haiti lived here in Spanish Fork! Haiti..why haven't we met yet?? Why? There is no reason why. This just shouldn't be. We are too close to have not met!
I will be seeing Wendy tomorrow..she is picking up my lavender. I am glad that she is getting her. Hoping she will keep her and I can see her being nice as she grows up, and then the color of that egg!
I have three little Exchequers that just hatched. One is working on getting stronger. Had to help all of these out. I really don't think folks should send pullet eggs, when the chick that needs to come out is a LF chick! One I was trying to help, didn't last through the night. It just couldn't make that turn in that small egg.
My Wellies are due to go into lock down next Tues. Only have 5 left! I also have more Exchequer that the gal owed me that didn't have enough of went she sent the first ones. That was sweet of her. At least these eggs are a bit larger. Then I have those that I won in the hatch a long. I only have three Icelandics left. The Maran eggs look good, and those big ol EE eggs are coming along nicely..from the hatch a long. I have more Silkies, and will set some more Showgirls tomorrow morning. Then I am done for a while. Did say...I'M DONE FOR A WHILE?!

Someone help me stop this madness!! Kirk wants the Wellies..oh brother, forgot to say..I also set more Welsummer eggs. Did I mention the ones in the new bator?? They are..some Silkies..so mentioned those..but I got some eggs from someone that has Leghorns and a Lavender Ameraucana together. They say they get real blue blue eggs from the chicks that hatch from these white eggs, and these eggs are big! Will be keeping a couple of those to watch for sure.
My black EE is beautiful! My Pencil looks dorky right now. My Speckled Sussex..

just beautiful! My NH is finally coming out of her Dorky stage and starting to look like a hen. She should start laying next month.
My little blue Ameraucana is going to be pretty.
I have decided that the other coop is going to be for my Silkies mainly. Hoping that they will accept new babies once in a while to grow up a bit in there. I am loving those Silkies. I should put another picture up on my blue splash I have. Just getting prettier all the time.
Ok, I made up for not having been on here for a while. Time for some pictures. May be a while...I have to get the recordings on that I took of my son's graduation! Then I'll have room to take pictures of the Exchequers. Two different breeders..only one made it from one, and two from another, you will see a huge difference in the size..small pullet eggs!
Later, and I would say stop having so much fun without me, but, yeah, go ahead. I'll have to get on more the next couple of days since the weather is going to be not so fun out there.

She is a little harder to get a good pic of. The only one in this pic that has crowed is the little one in the front.

Aw Phoenix. That Amer. looks like a roo----look at those pointy saddle feathers, argh! It is so stinkin beautiful though, way prettier than the last time I saw it! It will be gorgeous..... Also the red on the shoulders are usually a sure bet on a boy.......However----The little one, the splash from Cynthia that would not fit in with my big ones or my littles ones.....and I thought was going to be a boy, and Cynthia thought was a girl.....looks like it indeed is a girl....the tail sure looks like a girl.....very very cute. So glad that one really is! I better save you a pullet from my hatch. If it is ok I am going to forward your pic of the Splash Blue Wheaten to the seller.

Well, they were supposed to be 8-12 weeks old on May 5. I was guessing yours was more like 12 weeks at the time. Mine were 16 weeks , and a little bigger but not by a whole lot. I just sent her the pics, wondering if she would give a refund? Will let you know. She is in Montana so it is hard to do a return or exchange I think she would do it for sure if we were closer. I am 99 percent sure mine are girls, one is a little redder, but no pointy feathers at all yet. I think Sasha's is still looking girlie also. If you want though, I would be glad to grow these new babies out from the same breeder then bring you a girl when it is for sure a girl Are you keeping that boy? It would be hard to part with him. I bet he would make some cute babies.

Cynthia---so you are hatching---EVERYTHING! lol. I knew you would have lots with that fancy new bator going! Hattie is from Washington, Utah she is just driving through to Id Falls and picking up a daughter in Lehi along the way---was thinking she might want to pitstop and shop at your place haha I was just checking (I will be honest here) to see if you had more pure ameraucanas all hatched for sell for myself. lol I bet those from the leghorn Ameraucana mix would be awesome! That is a good mix if you get giant blue eggs. Hooray for blue eggs, hooray big time for big blue eggs! Hope your lavender settles down. Hope mine stays settled down. She hates newbies. I am putting my teens out this week when the rain is done in a black cage in the run so they can all be introduced.....kinda scary the first day out there.

Cynthia has the low down on all the good places to get eggs. I have been really happy with the qcu eggs, and Azriel's eggs seem to be hatching pretty good. Maybe you could get a good deal on eggs from her after the rooster incident....I have seen them for sale on here. That little splash that looks like a girl should give you blue eggs, she came from a blue egg too
