You need one of my sizzles for sure. More than half or them are frizzling already. By the time I get back I will have some nice curley chickens. I have a question about the frizzle type of chickens, Can they be shown and what do you show them under.G'morning all. Got up early to go to Sam's Club at 7, then when I got there I realized it was not Saturday and they did not open til 10 today with no early business member hours.Dang! I could have slept another 2 hours.![]()
Argh! I hate getting old. I cannot remember anything anymore, not even what day of the week it is lol. So I will have to go back later. Also woke up to sump pumps running in our crawl space, the ground water is high from irrigation and watering around us. Nice start to an otherwise nice day!
Looking at my Wheatens this morning, my little blotchy one like Daloorashens, only lighter blue , I believe is a Blue Wheaten Rooster in the making. Going to get that one on KSL this week, if anybody is interested let me know!
Birdguy you need another Ameraucana roo? Let me know. Still hoping to see a pic of "The Fonz" soonHis sister is not growing very fast at all, I cannot believe how small this batch of Lavender's are......Sphinx yours turning red yet? Mine is not at all. Cynthia, my Australorp was sitting in the nest this morning, and she squatted for me for the first time when I reached in........soon.......![]()
Sasha I do believe, I am 99 percent sure, my little Villain is a roo, red wattles this morning....very cuckoo, very frizzled, very cute. If you are looking to rehome Rocco and you want another rooster, he is yours. Awfully stinking cute, very very sad, I was excited to get a frizzly baby! I will keep him here a little longer to be that extra 1 percent positive.
Hattie, let us know how your hatch is going! Excited to hear. Hope to get another baby from you if you have enough for sale. I am still hoping to get my son a WCBlack somehow someway. It is funny though how you cannot tell at all what they will be for the first few weeks, I do not know how the heck the hatcheries can tell to sell them as the right colors. No wonder my WCBlack I bought ended up blue![]()
Question for you all: Are you supposed to trim toenails on your chickens? I noticed my orp I took to Joybells had loooong claws yesterday. I never noticed that they get longer as they get older, I figured they would keep them worn down with all that scratching.
