No self correction, but perhaps she may be able to learn how to live with her limited mobility. She was born crippled. The 1st vet refused to attempt treatment, hoping for self correction. When she started to do poorly at one month, 1st vet wanted to put her down. So I went to 2nd vet. For the past month, they have been correcting her. Here is her foot before:

so the leg that pokes out the side is normal? I am so pleased she is responding to treatment. Can she swin with that foot?

No, that is not normal. Her lower leg is rotated, then the joint where toes connect with heels are all messed up, but at least the tendons are not curled as before. Her bottom surface was top of middle toe turned 90 degrees inward. Now it is the bottom middle toe turned in a more 45 degree angle. The irony is she has to relearn how to walk without a cast and is afraid to test it yet.

Not sure yet if she can swim, as she was on water restrictions for the past 3 weeks to keep cast dry. But she was able to zoom in a kiddy pool before casting began. We will resume swimming by tomorrow.

I put my chicks on KSL and priced them at $20.00 is that too much? I didn't know how much to ask. I moved them outside with a light in the little coop but this way I can see them all them all the time. One of the bantum moms with chicks is laying again. I think it;s the silky. so tonight she is going in the big coop and run,

Oohhhhh ya, dear Cynthia, has not heard this part yet......you remember the little splash you sent to me with Red, wouldn't fit in with my age groups, then went to Cindy's (blujems and slvrphoenix) ....sooooo cute, pretty girl?....... NOT hahahahaha it really IS a boy ! All kinds of rooster spiky feathers going on and just waiting for the boy to crow. I told ya it was a boy you guys! It was faking you out. Another pretty one though. In addition to the Blue Wheaten Boy. Now karma would be no fun here.......

Sooooo payback would be my showgirl turns out to be a showguy.......Hope not! haha! It is just too cute to part with. And it is a people loving little bird, very sweet

Ooo, she's photogenic! I've been waiting for when you got her and to see if you would like her. I am thinking "her" so far. No bumpy walnut started, as of yet, and no wattles started as of yet. Time will tell...I hope it's a girl, she sure is pretty. I have a white Silkie outside now. I want a partridge so bad. I have some eggs coming from a gal whose eggs didn't work out..so, maybe those will work..all partridge, they won't come for a while, I want the heat to settle down. And, I do have the ones in my newer bator. I hope some of those work!
She looks good up against the dark in the back ground. Her tail is down in the picture. Wait till you see her outside walking around. Her little ball of a tail up, and those fluffy legs! Please be a girl.
